Great find
Great course found by accident, greens and fairways in very good condition. Slow pace of play compared to Brooklyn, playing Springsteen music. Friendly personnel

If you’re looking to get a decent afternoon round of golf , this place is ok. Very poor greens , short par 4a

Great course!
Pace of play was decent (4 sum 4:05 round). Fairways were hard and fast. Rough was longer. Greens were great!

East Orange - need of a ranger
Need a ranger to keep up pace of play as there are many beginners and people who play here that do not understand the ettiquette
Tons of unfixed ball marks on greens
So... this place is not bad for beginners or lesser skilled players. In my opinion it's pretty easy. Not a ton of trouble. Large bail out spots. It's not super long. It's a good place to play safe and lay up. Greens are fairly easy. Not a ton of break and not very fast. But when I played today the greens were in great shape other then the thousands of unrepaired ball marks.
There was almost zero staff around other then the guy in the proshop. There were a few groups of young guys who hit it OB over and over and took way too long looking for balls they would never find.
I like the course. Its affordable. There's a bunch of things that could be better but I'd definitely play it again.

Staff unfriendly and no Marshall
We were told to go outside to check in even though the guy was sitting at the front desk with the computer ready to check us in. Despite no mask restrictions he still made us go outside. Also, there was no Marshall keeping pace of play at a reasonable level.

Why would the person behind the golf counter incorrectly direct me to the “nearest” bathroom some 60 yards away when the actual nearest was 20 yards away? They did the same for my spouse 5 minutes later. I almost wonder if it was racially motivated.
Every cart was filthy. No sand to fill in divots.
BUT, big picture is it was a fun short course to play.
Thank you for leaving us a review. We apologize for the confusion- we've recently started allowing golf customers into the clubhouse to use the facilities. This employee was proceeding forward based off of old rules and made an error. We hope you'll give us another try in the future.
