Average Course-Needs Maintenance
+Course was not worth $65 a round. Municipal courses in neighboring counties are better maintained and worth the cost.
+Paying for round via a window outside building instead of being allowed in pro shop. (Felt like I was ordering at a fast food restaurant. Staff not very friendly either.)
+Tee boxes are not maintained.
+Course was bone dry-need to water the greens.
+Some of the tee boxes are too close to nearest hole.-had to yell "fore" a couple times.
+Restaurant onsite is nice but service was shoddy. (Our waiter fed himself in the open staff lounge area before we received our food.)
+Will give another try but not currently impressed.
Overall, great value. Pace of play can be a challenging. Course could also use some general maintenance / grounds keeping on items not that hard to fix (basic grass cutting; minor trimming around benches; simple drainage stuff, etc).

Needs a ranger
The pace of play is extremely slow as there are people on the course you don’t understand the etiquette of the game. It has nothing to do with skill. The course is good for beginners, But there are too many players on this course who don’t understand pace of play and etiquette the front 9 almost took three hours and the back nine I had to skip a hole and walked past a group on the 10th hole, Which is a par five. The course needs at least one ranger. One on the front nine and or one on the back nine. That will resolve the issue. In this course should take no more than 4 1/2 hours to play for anybody if anybody wants to enjoy the time. It took 5 1/2 hours for me to plan and I only played 17 holes.

East Meadow
It’s a flat, meadows, course with very short par 4’s, 5 par 3’’s and only three par 5’s. It was just in “fair” condition and a lot of the tee boxes were bunched up near each other giving a very “muni” feel to the day. We paid $53 each plus service fees. I would pay $30 most for a round here. The food was OK but expensive. TV’s were nice.

Playing on the 4th is always a crap shoot. Was crowded but manageable, staff friendly.
