Hot Day!!
Course was definitely affected by the storm. A couple of the greens were in rough shape. Over all a decent course which isn’t super hard. The staff here is always helpful and the atmosphere is awesome.

East Orange
Close course to me and will always go back. Not the best around bc there are some very well manicured courses close by as well but I like this course.
We're glad we're still your go-to golf course! We hope you'll join us again soon.
Excellent staff and a very good restaurant.
Putting green need a lot of work, but everything else it’s OK.

I just discovered this course a couple weeks back and have played 4 times. The first was great, the rest.... not so much.
The facility is awesome , nice chipping and putting area and the range is a stones throw from the first tee. While it isn’t the longest course, it does have some long holes including a 217 yard par 3. The course forces players to actually hit golf shots which is pretty awesome.
If not for the hornet nests on 2 greens and the debris, the course would be pretty flawless.
The one major down side, getting stuck behind frat boys playing 10000 balls and looking for everything. Waiting is a part of the game , but if I wait 20 mins on one tee, I don’t ever wanna catch up again. Unfortunately, you will be waiting about 15 mins to tee off every time.
A well placed ranger would do wonders!!!
The snack shack at the turn is a great touch and the friendly staff make up for the pace at times, I recommend it, but be prepared for a 4hour and 30 min round.

Hickory golf
This course is an absolutely perfect setup to enjoy a retro round using 100+ year old hickory shaft clubs.
A well kept secret
This is a lovely course typically in very good shape and with an excellent pace of play. A Saturday afternoon round at a packed public course that takes just over four hours? Routine here. Straightforward layout with a few doglegs right and slight lefts to make you think a bit and a couple of longish holes to interest big hitters. Par 3s range from very short (100 yrds) to longer (205 yrds) from the middle tees so it’s enough of a challenge that the average golfer can hit every club In the bag. The price is a bargain - $57 w/cart for non-county residents. The outdoor patio and restaurant is also a major plus for a post round drink and bite. The food is excellent by the way. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great overall experience.

Easy Affordable Course for beginners and more experienced
I have not played in a long time and wanted to get back into the sport. More experienced players may not enjoy this course. The grounds are on ok shape at best but for a new player it’s not that big a deal. The layout is very forgiving however and fairways are quite wide. There is very little if any elevation changes to deal with as well.

Poorly Organized
We were disappointed with this course. No one was spacing out or organizing the start of play and things were very backed up. No one had wiped down the carts and there was no antiseptic hand wash anywhere. The course was only in fair condition.
