Golfer Reviews
Neighborhood course
Nice course in a local location. Course was in good shape . Only negative I have is the 7th&8th holes had a lot of goose crap.
Starter does a good job getting golfers out in a orderly manor.
November play
It was cold and windy that day. Came prepared with gloves but forgot my hat. Greens played well even after a rainy night before.
A Hidden 9 hole gem
I really like this 9 hole course in a quiet neighborhood in south Massapequa. The course is privately owned and surprisingly well maintained. My only complaint is there is only1 bathroom on the facility. They should put a porto-potty at the 6th green and then you'd have a 5 star review from me. A really nice way to spend 2 hours on a nice afternoon.
Decent course, conditions not great
Decent local 9 hole in so-so condition (mind you this is November now). Good pace, although it wasnt too crowded at all (that's a plus). Tee boxes are in pretty good shape but greens were average, at best. They are doing work on fairways and #5 was covered in dung. Fairways all abut against each other so a lot of missiles shooting all over the place. Seems to be a big local spot, which I am not. Kind of weird figuring out where next hole is with minimal signage. Not the best course layout. Almost all par 4s, 1 3 and 1-2 5s. I am not sure if I would return but if you aren't too picky and just looking for quick 9 its adequate.
