Hadn't played this course in years and I was pleasently surprised by the redesign of the course. Conditions were great as well

1st round at a well-maintained course
Corse is in excellent condition. Greens are good and putt true. Staff was nice. Only weirdness is the 10th hole requires a drive across the driving range. You ring a bell and the range patrons stop while you cross

Slow and Steady
If you have 6 hours to loiter around this is the perfect course for you. The pace of play makes a snail look speedy. One standout feature of Saxon Woods is the strong ratio of 'rangers' to golfers. I am still workshopping a theory on what these 'rangers' were doing out there since they made zero efforts to speed up play. The layout of the course is quite interesting, especially the driving range which bisects the 10th hole. This adds a whole new meaning to a risk-reward shot in golf and encourages you to put complete trust in all the driving range patrons.

Great course
Great course but very busy as a result.
2.5 hrs for 9 holes but can’t expect more for a beautiful Saturday afternoon in the height of the summer!!

Little mean and more money
Course is in good shape , charging another 10
If u drive alone and some employees r mean and not that nice , when u sign up to play at the course they can be little
Cold in there , again it’s about the golf and not the jerks, as long as one outweighs the other to play there

Nice course, manager rude
My husband and I were joined by two gentlemen.We played 4 holes and it started to rain and it got heavier. My husband and I decided to stop playing. We asked for a rain check. The manager rudely said "it's not raining" and refused our request of a rain check. He was rude!
Staff int he pro shop commented that he needed a lesson in people skills.
Saxon Woods is a lovely course. The manager's response to a rain check request was not customer centric. He needs to understand the customer base and act accordingly.

Perfect twilight
$34 to walk after work an interesting and different course makes this a great week day option. Heard it gets crazy on weekends but pace was fine. Lots of hills and steep walks, not a relaxing stroll but not too brutal either. Definitely coming back!
