Hope to play there when it dries out

First time playing SFCC . Drove an hour to check out this course. Apparently they had a bunch of rain the day before that we did not have at home . So the course was wet, and some of the rough needed to be cut , but was not able to be done. The spring around here has been awful, lots of rain so it certainly was not the fault of the course. The pro shop was friendly , and apologized about the conditions. Hope to give the course another go if, and when things around here dry out. Pace of play was great.

Seneca Falls Country Club - Exactly As Advertised

The course website mentions that it is playable for the beginner and offers a challenge to the lower handicap, and that is exactly what I found. I cannot wait to get back out and play this course for a second time, now that I have seen a few of the blind shots.

The staff in the pro shop were very welcoming and helpful. I really like the SFCC logo, so I also picked up some cool merch.

Maybe

I did click "yes" regarding recommending the course to a friends, but with reservations.... Course was OK, nothing great. Had really only a few holes that were interesting. Most were straight, driving range style. Fairways were mediocre, but the tee boxes and greens were in good shape. There are two other courses nearby. Don't know that I would play here again for the $35.00 each.

Bland course. Nice staff/bar/clubhouse

My wife and I played the course under sunny skies and hot temps. The check in process was easy and we were quickly on our way. The course was very wet, with rutted up fairways and standing water everywhere. It was hot and dry for the past two days, so the course was clearly flooded and has drainage issues. The tee boxes, greens and traps were in nice shape, when not full of water. The rough was high and full of clover. The course design is very straightforward and easy, with little real trouble. The layout is boring and flat, with a couple notable exceptions (#9 and #10 spring to mind). The bar staff and good food took some of the sting out of things though. We won't likely be back for the golf, but maybe for the pizza and beer.

Nice course layout

I liked the course layout but fairways were in rough shape. Price was fair and was a beautiful day.

Good Course - Back Nine is more challenging

As a first time player at SFCC it was a good experience. As many other courses have suffered from the rain this year, there are spots of poor ground. But overall in good shape and a challenging layout.

Neat course

Great course for the money. Challenging holes. Some areas were a little beat up. Maybe they should of had cart path only on some holes.

Gem of the Finger Lakes

Great layout that is challenging to the single digit handicapper and playable by beginners. Awesome view of Cayuga Lake coming down the ninth fairway and memorable par threes and par fives. A mix of small and large greens with moderate bunkering. Really enjoy playing this golf course and always stay for a bite to eat and a few drinks after the round in their gorgeous tap room with 5 big flat screens and friendly bartenders.
