A beautiful north woods setting
A wonderfully manicured course cut out of Minnesota's north woods. From the tips, all the challenge you'll want, especially if your drives tend to wander.
New layout for #3 looks great.
Course was in great shape, greens are great also. Played 18 in 3.5 hrs. for threesome.
Staff was very helpful. Will definitely play again.
Nice, but
Turtle-back small greens were challenging! weather was good
turf needs help
Like most courses in the north, the layout is quite scenic. Played at the end of May and it was apparent there was a serious case of snow mold the course is still recovering from.. The only knock on this track would be the shape of the turf through the green. Nice staff
Course under construction
Course was in rough shape from the winter and hole #3 is under construction.
Course is in great shape and a real challenge from the blue tees
The course was better than I expected.
The menu for food is large.
It is in real good shape and the greens are nice.
A pleasure to play.
Nice course!
Tianna is a fun course to play and has a good variety of hole difficulty and challenges. The greens were in great shape and overall the course was well cared for.
Great Northern Minnesota resort-type golf course
An awesome golf course and well worth the price. Challenging but very playable. Scenic and relaxing to play. Might play it again this week while on vacation. Definitely will play it again next year when we come back! Would not walk however because of the hills
This course has a good lay out
This course was well laid out & well maintained, great course for your money.
Great shape and challenging.
The front nine greens had just been aerated but the back nine greens were in excellent shape. The course overall was in very good shape. I would recommend this course.
A challenging, yet fun golf course.
A challenging, yet fun golf course. If you are looking for a course where you get flat lies try a different. The hilly terrain contributes to the beauty of the course, but hardly ever gives you a flat lie. Also, there are many "blind shots" to the green, but overall, it is hard not to enjoy this beautiful layout. Just enjoy the beauty and don't expect to shoot a personal best score.
Beautiful NorthWoods golf course.
This course was majestic. Was just waiting for a wild deer or bear to come up. The golf pace was good, and people friendly.
This course has very small greens. Almost all holes are to elevated greens it seems.
We had no difficulty with the staff or the carts. They even were willing to let a 5 some play. We did not see any rangers. We were astonished that there were no bathroom facilities(not even a port-a-potty) anywhere on the course. It seemed that every par 4 or par 5 was to an elevated green and frequently required a shot to a very small green that was elevated. Made for difficult 2nd, 3rd or 4th shots. The setting is very nice being in the woods and such.
Challenging course. Rolling, and hilly with lots of up and down. Either small pinnacle or large and generous greens and mostly very fast. Plays long.
Challenging course, rolling. tree lined, and fairly hilly. Front side has some shorter funky type holes, while backside is long. Course plays longish where you Tee off to a valley, then up hill to the greens. Greens are either small, crowned and pinnacle in style or large and generous in size. Greens are undulating and generally very fast in nature. Many greens slope front to back making it hard to get to front pins. Poor practice area. Club house is modest and serves food and beverage. Service is slow or bad which ever you choose. My wife waited nearly an hour in the club house for me to finish and was not waited on or asked to be helped once in that time.
Fun place to play
Very nicely laid out, and very hilly course, but no real surprise is lurking around corners. We played this course on a somewhat rainy day, so there was not very many other people on the course, making it an extremely enjoyable, leisurely round of golf.
fairways and greens were very well maintained, and the rough was fair to play out of.... would definitely play this course again next time in the area.
The course is in great shape!
Golfed with my son and dad on Memorial weekend. The staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape, including the greens.
