Nice little course
I woke up early and bagged a 610am time. I was stoked because I thought I would only have time for 9 because I had to be done by 11. I showed up at 545 and the office was not open so I was a little worried. But the guy shows up at 550 and I paid the non-GK rate of $63 and headed for first tee. I got paired with another walking single. The round went quick even though the course was very right on most holes. Fortunately I was hitting it pretty straight and only lost 2 balls. The greens are not easy and on most holes, missing the green long is very bad. Finished round in just over 3 hours so was very happy with that even though my score was not great.
Decent Track, facilities need TLC
Overall the course itself is in pretty decent shape. Greens were a bit slow, but clean of debris. I found the back 9 to be more scenic and fun. The range is ghetto AF. Figured they could spend a little money on new mats and spruce it up a bit. Old rickety gas golf carts with no GPS or anything. Didnt see anyone enforcing pace of play, which was a tad slow, but not too bad. I'd probably go back if nothing else was available, but not my first choice.

What a Gem!
The staff is unmatched — I especially want to acknowledge BOB and DAVE who go the extra mile — to greet you (they remember your name!) and to wish you luck. I’ve played many many courses … it’s in great condition (the greens are true and run quick!)… but what really sets Bergen apart is that that it feels like a private course! What a gem!
