Course isn't in good shape. No grass on some fairways. Traps okay and rough okay. Overall course isn't great shape. For 35.00 with a cart including green fee. Can't expect much. Good track for beginners because it's flat.
Nice day
Had a 8:40 tee time but it was raining. The weather app said it would be clearing by 10:15 and the man inside accommodated us. Killed time at the Lindenhurst diner a mile away. After the rain there were some wet spots that look like they never drain well. Fairways and greens were good. Burned to a crisp where irrigation does not reach. The biggest negative was the thousands of geese….fertilizing the fairways. I nailed one with a drive and he went scampering away. I had a walkoff with a chip in at the last hole.
A good time
Although the pace of play was somewhat slow the course conditions considering the heat and wind we’ve been having were fabulous. Greens were gorgeous and the fairway is in super shape. A great course to play on a very hot day. The Seabreeze kept us very comfortable. Bob Miller has done a great job with this course as manager
