It was okay
Some of the greens were in terrible shape. It was an average public course.
Slow
They let anyone jump in to play that will pay. 530pm tee time took 4 hours and 30 minutes as a solo. Golf now had zero filled times from 4-545 yet the course was absolutely packed with most walking. Don’t expect to play a round quickly at this course
Great Layout
Course has a great layout, and it’s in good condition. Pace of play was horrible because of a group of knuckleheads 2 holes in front of my group. The course present some challenges with room for forgiveness. Will definitely play again !!
Course was very dangerous bc holes intermingled
A few holes had fairways hitting over the green on the previous holes. Very dangerous for golfers putting as balls fly by your head. The roof of my cart was hit with a golf ball.
Good course for a great price
Bergen Point is one of my go to courses, despite it being over a half hour from my home. It’s well worth the drive. It’s very fairly priced, especially if you can grab a Hot Deal. Not a perfectly maintained track, but being that it is a well priced public course near the water, it’s impossible to have any complaints. The grounds crew does a nice job. Highly recommend for golfers of any skill level. Pace of play is great during the week and still good on weekends. I’m an about a 15-18 handicap and shot an 85 here this week.
Great experience
The staff was friendly and the course was lush albeit a bit, but that's expected. The layout provides enough challenge for all skill levels. Will be back.
Always a challenge!
With the winds blowing off the bay, this is always a challenge. Unlike a lot of other courses I have played, this course feels properly rated and sloped. The pins did not have to be do difficult. It slows down play and makes the round less fun.

Couse is in great shape. Played off the Blue tees. Will be back!
