Course is good
Course is good, but the pace of play is not, we spend more than 5 hours.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Break out Your Driver!
Huge Open course. Very Fun to play. I would have given it a higher score for accommodations but there's no driving range to warm up for such a long course. Would recommend hitting a range up beforehand. Also the shop after 5 only takes cash and I wasn't made aware of that when I expressed to the pro shop I didn't have it for their $1 cash cart hold. its 2021 no place should be cash only especially for refreshments.

Slow Pace
Too many tee times on top of each other. Huge log jam at the par 3 hole 2.. Waited 25 min here. 5.5 hour round. Luckily was cheap and picked up after hold 5.

Once a Year
After playing MapleMoor it reinforced why I play a. county course maybe once a year and usually first time out. And advice to new players......learn the etiquette of the game. I don’t care if you shoot 130, don’t play from the BACK TEES, know when to pick up and move on, don’t yell “get in the hole” on every singles putt, don’t move when someone is about to hit, have at least part of a clue as to how to conduct yourself. Until then stay at the driving range and take a lesson. As for the course, cutting and rolling the greens would be a start. Setting the course up to play from the actual yardages on perhaps half the holes would be an improvement. I could go on but it won’t help. I hope the other county tracks are in better shape than MM considering how much money was out into this one. Westchester has a rich golf history but the county run courses are a disgrace compared to other publics I’ve been to around the country.

I stayed away from Maple cause reviews were mostly bad. Well I was pleasantly surprised at experience playing was great, guys paired with were awsome. Greens little on slow side but still early in season will definitely be back. Recommend during week, wknds might be real crowded

We play every Sunday for past 2 years. The staff is excellent. Tommy pro great and helpful. The greens have been good depending on time of year. The conditions have improved since the reno.
