Great Short Course
Perfect Course to improve your short game and tee shots. Pace has always been great even with a lot of traffic and popular location. Play it 3-4x per year and never disappoints. I recommend early am or twilight rounds for best experience.
Best course in Westchester
Course was great but need some rangers driving around the course. Some people play way to slow.

Greens were aerated and got a discount for it. Other than that course was in great shape. Looks like major construction may be on the way.

Great course but.......
Starter was very friendly but play was so slow. No ranger to move slow players from hitting 2 balls off the tee. Ridiculous. Course in great shape though.

Too slow and some greens are already in bad shape
The pace was awful. The course is in okay shape but some greens have in airigated which is no fun!

Work in Progress
Decided to check out my old stomping grounds. Had not been to Sprain in several years. Short course even from the tips but the layout is fun. Biggest issue is the course is beat up and staff doing their best to keep it playable. Many improvements have been made and others are a work in progress. Greens were slow and furry when I was there. If your expectations are in check you can get through it.

GREAT FOR A PUBLIC COURSE
My friend and I traveled from Nassau County to play. We were glad we did. The course was in very good condition:; however there were a few greens that were chewed up. Could be people dragging their feet and golfers not fixing ball marks. But over all great to play. Nice layout and the pace of play was acceptable, a little over four hours, All and all it was a great day. Happy we made the trip.

9 holes - 3hrs
9holes - 3hrs. Pace of play is a joke. Overbooked no rangers. 3 groups waiting on the fIrst tee with a group on the fairway and another one on the green. Don’t waste your time or money coming here. Nothing open and a rude staff also.
