Sprain Lake Golf Course

It drizzled for the first 2 holes , them was perfect after that.Starters are always great guys here.

This Westchester course is in good condition given the cold weather and tough winter. Greens roll well and fairways are in good shape.

Course is not long and some holes are close to each other but is generally a well kept track with rolling fairways and firm greens

There are 4 sets of tees and various hazards. Bunkers are generally well kept through some are firmer than others

The course layout is challenging but not overly challenging as it is not a long course, but it is hilly and some tight fairways and greens. Water comes into play on many of the holes and each hole is unique. It made for an interesting and enjoyable round. I will definitely be back to experience the course when the weather is nicer.

Course is good shape, leaves blown off course, .ade it very payable.

This was the first time playing love the layout. Its a challenging course.

Overall the course is beautiful and the layout is great. Even with the dry weather the course is in great shape. Only real problem are the greens, they are s... It is easier to use a wedge on the greens than the putter as they "roll" at ca. 6-7 on a stimp-meter. I just hope that is because of the recent aeration.

Got there a little early due to fast traffic and decided to use the driving range. Well that was a mistake! They have 30% balls that fly funny. Also almost the whole time I was on the range there were 2-3 men picking up balls with handheld picker al over the range with no protection. So no place on to hit to :(

Finally, the Pro shop staff could do with a little less attitude.

But would definitively recommend the course when the aeration is over.

Greens punched and 7 temporary holes out of 18! The starter was ride so were most of the staff. I will never be returning, they laughed in my face when I asked for a refund due to how bad the course was

This can be a fun course. Has some beautiful views and you can always recover from poor shot and score because course plays short. I am teaching my sons and great course for them to learn on.

Not a long course but you have to make your shots with elevation changes and water carries. Tees and greens were in great condition. We had to wait a lot, but the round was less than 5 hours. Great clubhouse with expansive shop and nice bar. Great experience. Will be back!
