Starting to show wear and tear
Love the course, but, at this point in the season, wear and tear are starting to show, especially on the greens. Way too many unfixed ball marks on the greens and divots on the fairways from golfers who don't know or don't care about course etiquette
Desk staff and rangers really need to enforce the responsibility of all golfers to respect the course and their fellow golfers by sanding divots and repairing ball marks.
Worst pace of play I’ve ever experienced
If you like waiting 10-15 minutes between each hole after getting out 10-15 minutes late because of the worst check in system possible then this is your place. Didn’t finish the round when it shouldn’t have been an issue. I also lost my deposit for the cart(which is completely wild to begin with) because they’re closed when you get back. Never again.
Loved this course
This course was in great shape and very challenging I loved everything about it. I love westchester county courses. They are very well maintained. I like that. Had a great round of golf with friends
Friends
Course and greens were in great shape. Made for an enjoyable day of golf.
Great shape
The course was in great shape. Had my best round of the year. Greens were fast but true. I really enjoyed this course. I will definitely play it again
Primo
The course . . . especially greens, are in terrific shape. Goid and Red tees on #18 should really be moved up 30 or 40 yards. It's impossible for players off those tees to make the green in regulation. Or, get the USGA to rerate the hole as a Par 5. #13 would make a fine #1 handicap hole.
Very nice municipal coarse
Probably the easiest coarse among Westchester. But very well maintained.
Pace of play was 1 hour per 3 holes- no policing of pace
Pace of play was already backed up at hole 2 for an 11am start. It took 2.5 hours to finish the front nine and time kept going further and further back. I would’ve expected to be around 6 hours by end. I left after 9 holes. The course itself though was well maintained and affordable. I would go again if the pace wasn’t one of the worst in the area. I heard from a fellow golfer on my tee time that this is very frequent here.
