No starter or ranger
Forty minute backlog. Way overbooked by forty minutes. Decided to not play as the group in front of us were all hackers so the round would have been dreadfully slow.
Overpriced
It’s only mid April and the fairway grass hasn’t grown in yet, the tee boxes are pretty beat up and the bunkers are mostly mud and water. The greens had been aerated a few days ago and were not even sanded. Crap.
They charge $55 for a weekday senior. NOT a value. Wait till early to mid May to play.
Last Minute Round
I always enjoy playing at Forest Park. The mix of courses is fun and the pace of play is good.

Forest Park Golf Course / Hawthorne
This is a decent track. They recently aerated the greens so obviously an impact on putting but I enjoyed the layout. The track is flat and well designed. Decent golf shop and restaurant as well. Overall I’d recommend it.
St Louis vacation
Great course, great area around ST. LOUIS. If in the Delmar/ zoo area it is an amazing area to check out.

Good public course
Course conditions were good. Greens were tough. A lot of ball marks on the greens. Not much the staff can about that. Maybe signage reminding golfers to repair their ball marks? Also, better signage moving from different nines.
