Bear Trap Dunes

Great course for the money, even in winter staff very friendly.

I just wanted to get out and hit a few balls, but I had a really great time. Weather was in the low 40s, just high enough to be reasonably comfortable. I made my reservation online, and everything was set up for me as I arrived. I got out on the course right away and sailed along. Everything was in fine condition, especially the greens. I don't know what it was, but I never putted so well in my life. It was great.

Played 18 holes on November 23. late in the year, so crowds were not an issue. Course was challenging but fair. however, several fairways were chopped up from people not replacing divots. overall, fair value. would recommend it.

Always a good round at Bear Trap. Fairways in great shape and greens putting fast. Saturday got a little cold but it was still good to be out. Made some fabulous puts and meet two obnoxious women golfers what a laugh. Hope the weather gets warmer so I can play again. Try it out!!!!!

The course is challenging with the dunes lining the fairways. It is a nice layout. Enjoyed my round.

Great course to play even after aeration. Fairways are in great shape. If you can hit it straight you can score on this course but the fairways are narrow at some points and require better shots. Not much water but lots of traps.

This course is always a treat to play! Well maintained, offers a good challenge but you can use your driver here. Not too many dog legs. Never disappoints.

The layout on the two nines we played was pretty much a bunch of straight holes. Most of the exceptions were holes where fairway cut / bunkers created a little bit of a dogleg. Conditions were generally good, but traps needed work.

Great conditions. Most of staff were friendly and attentive. Pace of slow very slow. Saw beer cart at 2nd hole and never again.Would definitely recommend though.

Playing Grizzly then Kodiak was a pleasure. This course is challenging in spots but quirkly throughout. For medium handicap golfer, 14 - 20+, can b very challenging because of lack of course knowledge. Low handicappers should score rather well. Greens in good shape, true and quick

This is a real golf course. Good conditions neat fairways, bunkers in good shape, greens mid-fast probably 10. Funky pin placements though, like almost at the crest of a hill, somewhat challenging if not unfair. Highly recommend . I'm a 7.7 index btw.

Bear Trap Dunes is a very nice course that presents both nice scenery (birds & landscape) and challenging holes. You will play some lengthy holes that offer the hazards of bunkers, traps, water, and undulating greens. The course is well maintained and reasonably priced.

27 hole facillity with all 9's equal in challenge and character. We played on a Friday just after noon and early that morning it had down poured. I expected wet conditions. All I got was soft greens that remained quick. Excellant drainage and course conditions. Very scenic. A definite recommendation is in order.

Challenging without being too frustrating for a high handicapper like me. Beautiful course, well kept fairways and greens. Staff was very friendly. Great experience.
