Course was extremely dry and firm, The greens are same as usual for this course. Very hard and grainy.

I will give an honest review. The course is in fairly good shape. It is bone dry and the greens are very firm and grainy just as I remember. I am going to provide some free information that will back up the following statement, The course is massively overpriced. Here are some prices of other courses that I have played and the rack rate for Goose Pond Colony Course.

I hope everybody uses this information for what it is worth. Goose Pond is a $45.00 golf course and the public is being ripped off.

We play at Goose Pond 4-5 times a year and it is always really good. The greens seem to be very firm on approach shots but they give a true roll with the putter. At nearly 60 years old the length of the course is plenty long for me from the white tees. The staff is always friendly and I would recommend Goose Pond Lake course to anyone in north Alabama.

Wanted to play a quick round while on vacation. Heck of a deal for $30! No complaints it was fun and we had a great time!

very enjoyable course. conditions were very good. I was part of a five some and we let people( 3 groups) play thru. AND STILL MANAGED TO FINISH 18 IN 4.2 HRS. Great value with golf now app hot deal $31 each for 18 w cart , looking fwd to playing this again..

The course was in great shape. Fairway grass was nice to hit off of and the tee boxes and greens were also in good shape. I always enjoy playing Goose Pond (Lake Course). The scenery is beautiful, and the course defends itself very well. It does not surrender. You have to beat it fair and square. I used Golf Now/Golf Pass Hot Deal, and my group was able to play for $23.00 each. Thank you, Goose Pond, and thank you Golf Now/Golf Pass.

I was pleasantly surprised by Goose Pond Lake Course. I assumed from the deal I got through Golf Now that it probably wouldn't be much more than a decent goat track given today's insane rates most courses charge. But that was a bad assumption. The course was in good condition and had a decent layout with lots of trees/water/elevation changes. Though the pace of play slowed to a crawl on the back 9 due to a five some (which shouldn't be allowed) holding up multiple groups, I still finished in around 4.5hrs. I would definitely play there again if I get the chance and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent challenge at a great value.

Good course— good to very good condition. Pace of play was good 18/ 3.75 hours

Lake course conditions were good to very good: challenging layout via elevation changes and doglegs.

Played a hot deal via golf now App~ so goood value. ,! Pace was decent 18 in 3.75 hr on a Tuesday afternoon.staff were professional.

Carts were Gas powered and worked well. No gps on carts which is a plus as I brought my own rangefinder.
