Excellent course
Great course, facilities and staff.
Awesome track
6:45 AM tee time was running late. From the bag client ion to getting me on the course everyone was so courteous. I played Pinnacle and it was really a treat.
Fantastic day out!
I played a round on my own while on vacation out in AZ. I got paired up with 3 really nice guys from Las Vegas and Texas. The round was long (almost 5 hours), but it didn't feel that way. The course was challenging: if you aren't on the fairway or the first cut, you're in a waste area, and the greens were rolling about a 12 on the Stimp, so you need to be confident with the stroke, but overall the course was really a pleasure to play.
Staff was just fantastic, and the practice amenities are amazing. I grabbed dinner after the round with some friends at Dynamite Grill, and the food was good.
The price was steepish at $175 for twilight, but I would say it was worth it. Just a fantastic day out, and I won't hesitate to go back next time I'm in town.
First rate!
We are from Texas and this is about the 4th time I have played the course. One of my favorites in the world.
Spectacular
Course was in immaculate condition. It had rained the night before, so they enforced cart path only which slowed down play. The course layout is really stunningly beautiful--lives up to the hype . Quite penal if you are off the fairways, but they are generous sized. Beginner golfers would probably get frustrated and not enjoy it as much, because you will lose a lot of balls and/or spend a lot of time looking for balls. For intermediate or advanced golfers, it is a fun challenge on a unique and beautiful golf that is classic desert, target golf.
Absolute Perfection
To say my father, two brothers, and I were excited about playing this course would be a gross understatement. This was a “Christmas-Eve as a seven-year-old” level of anticipation. Brand new golf balls were being acquired just for the outing, my brother was contemplating what attire he should wear, and my dad was up at the crack of dawn for a 12:15 tee time.
And despite all the hype and excitement, Troon North far exceeded expectations.
What an absolutely stunning golf course. Admittedly, I haven’t played many rounds of golf on upper-echelon golf courses like this one, but I will happily and confidently put this one up against any of them.
The views alone from hole to hole are breathtaking. The combination of mountains and desert vistas with the almost emerald glow of the fairways and greens makes it almost difficult to concentrate on the task at hand.
This is why no one on the golf course is in a hurry. Many of the tee boxes act as pedestals for golfers to take in the incredible views. Sometimes you just need to take a moment to appreciate where you are and what is around you. This is perfection.
From tee box to green, you would have thought we were the first to ever play the course. It was in absolute immaculate condition. While there isn’t much room off the fairways, the fairways themselves are fair and allow for different club selections off the tee. The bunkers are soft and deep. The greens can be tricky but they roll true and aren’t too fast or hard that a good approach shot won’t bounce or roll off. This is a course maintained at a PGA TOUR level, but still fair enough for the rest of us to enjoy playing.
This is the best golf course I have ever played. And although I still have a few courses to cross off my bucket list, this may very well end up being the best golf course I ever play.
Side Note: Make time to eat at Dynamite Grill. Get the Kobe beef sliders and a basket of their fries. So good.

Monument Course
Awesome course. Tight off the tee but fair. Course was in excellent condition. A real joy to play!
great course
course was in great shape, with exception of traps.....not enough sand.
Lots of carry over the desert for the women.
staff was great and a decent value only because I got a GolfNow special.
very fast greens but well maintained.
Wow! Beautiful but tough!
Like the Arizona desert, this course is beautiful and rugged. Most fairways are a bit narrow and you have to do well off the tee to score. Carts have great GPS graphics. Greens rolled pretty true. Staff was very nice. I recommend to anyone willing to pay the somewhat steep price tag.
A good one to play if you're in Scottsdale
The price is a little higher than other courses you can play in the area, but it's a good value for the rate. Make sure you hit the dynamite grill, the food is excellent
A perfect day.
The greens had a little disease in them, besides that it was a perfect day.
Great course great golfnow price
This course was fantastic and the golfnow price was unbelievable.
Troon North is always a pleasure
This course is the benchmark for what a premium course should be. The customer service from the bag drop to the 19th hole is fabulous. They make everything very enjoyable. The pro shop is one of the best around. There are lots of selections for men and women. The course management including the great ranger Zuhair were very helpful and pleasant. The course was beautiful and challenging with pretty views. We loved our experience there and we will be back to play The Monument Course.
Perfect this time of year
First time playing this course. Took my Dad here as a gift and we both enjoyed ourselves immensely. If you've not had the opportunity to play here it's one experience you should treat yourself with at some point. First rate hospitality and the course was beautiful and challenging.
Great Course Very Enjoyable
Perfect conditions, fun and challenging, but also beautiful to look at as well. No quirky blind shots and greens would hold your approach shots well and roll true.
Easy check in and great warm up range, chipping and putting greens. Definitely worth every star they have earned.
Great layout!
Very nice course in excellent condition! It's a players course and worthy of the best shot makers ability!
It's target golf at its best. You just have to hit the fairways and greens.
Monument course
Awesome course, but wouldn't pay more than $225. Well worth it if you can get any deal. Make sure you bring your camera for the back 9! (But please.. Please don't hold up play..)
superbe de beau terrain
Vue rarement. FIDÈLE À SA RÉPUTATION
Still a bucket list course
Played this course a few times ten years ago just got better with age
Can be pricey at times but the memories are priceless
An Ideal Way to Spend Thanksgiving
My review will only be positive as I am sure I picked THE BEST DAY to play. The setting was just surreal playing alone and barely anyone on the course. I had to ask myself why any woman would want to be at a spa than at this course surrounded by serenity..this day was something to be very thankful. Bobcats were an added bonus!
