Great conditions
The course is in near perfect planeing conditions, regardless of the cartpath only. The only complaint was that when we finished the round, one of the gentleman that was there to clean the clubs was in such a hurry. He dumped the cooler next to my wife, splashed her with water and hit her with her bag as as he was pulling it off the cart.
Drink cart ran out of sandwiches by 1pm and no dogs or sandwiches at the turn. Your F&B manager needs to step up.
Wet course from overseeding a fact of life but always frustrating.
Decent course
The practice facilities were top notch and free of charge. I was happy to pay what we did as it was not peak season. The course was in good shape but was not a breathtaking layout by any means. Having to pay $12 for parking when you on a hotel site in the middle of nowhere was not the best way to end the day.
To slow
Lovely course , great place but Cart path only . I am afraid the course needs to be well marshalled as a lot of people seem unable to keep up with a reasonable pace of play
Good conditions
Good golf course, great greens and good pace of play.
The Palmer has amazing fairways. Greens were a bit slow and not alot of movement but overall a very round besides the fact it was cart path only.
Enjoyable round.
Fun course. Never had to wait for anyone nor did we hold anyone. Greens were a little slow but maybe just time of year. Otherwise course was in great shape. Only complaints were they did not inform when booking the driving range was shut down and they charged $12 for parking. Maybe I might have gotten a pass at pro shop but no one informed me.
Greens slow, pace of play even slower!
Called the golf after 1 1/2 holes, group in front were SO SLOW , granted it was cart part only, but come on, they were lollygagging to their ball and back to the cart!!
No one came, by the 5th hole a par 3 there were 3 groups, (behind us were a group of 4 ladies) on one hole, again I called, nothing happened. Even the cart lady, now on hole 8th commented on this group, saying there was a huge gap in front of them. She even called the pro shop!
So the pace of play sucked, nothing was addressed, it took us 5 hrs to play, and soured our mode about golfing and the golf course. Greens were shaggy and very slow. Not worth the price or the 5 hour round. Too bad, sad :(
Worried about time
Not too impressed for the manicure of the course given the price. Also, club house very concerned about speed of play which made for a very frustrating round. There was never anyone waiting on us but the marshall was with us every step of the way. Even asked us to skip a hole when no one was behind us. Very annoying.
Played mcdowell mountain the next day and course condition was much like what i expected and no marshal even asked us to hurry up even though course was busy.
Course Conditions
The Faldo course was in very good condition considering the long stretch of extremely hot weather.
