Will play again
Course was in great shape with very open fairways. I was fortunate to stay out of the bunkers the whole day or it would have played much more difficult for me.
One of two great courses here, play them both
The Palmer course is a bit less challenging than the Faldo but not by much. Outstanding design and perfect greens.
Two great courses here, play them both
Falco course is a bit more difficult than the Palmer. Lots of elevated greens. Putting was perfect.
Delightful
Faldo has become one of my two favorite courses in Phoenix, the other being Raven. You can tell a lot has been invested in this course to create wide forgiving fairways, pristine bunkers and silky smooth greens. Unfortunately I can only afford to play it in the summer months.
Love it
Love how bunkers are a main part of the course. Allows you to play chess with the course.
Recovering from Storm
The Palmer course was in generally good condition. Tee boxes were level and lush; fairways were in good condition; fairway traps needed TLC; sand traps closer to greens were full but wet; greens were slow (a “7” per the Starter). As a single, completed the round in under 3.5 hours (playing 2 balls on several holes), due to me being allowed to start early. Enjoyed the round; particularly nice with a very cheap rate available through TeeOff.
Excellent
The staff was friendly. From tee box to green, the course was in great shape. Can’t comment on the sand, but it looked reasonable enough. Greens were a bit slow, but in great shape. Go. This is a smashing deal.
Great Place
This place is like your favorite restaurant, it never disappoints. I played the Palmer Course in 2.5 hours yesterday. Great shape, greens rolled true. Staff fantastic and helpful. Cart girl every 6 holes….. 40$ thru Golf Now….
Get out there boys, you will not be disappointed
Great course layout
The is a very enjoyable course to play , and we did enjoy our round . The greens were moderate in speed and the fairways were as expected..very good . However, the sand hazards were not well maintained , with little or no sand . Furthermore the course maintenance was lacking with disappointing areas or washouts and debris .
Good course but terrible greens
The course was beautiful but the greens were like putting on the fairway.
overall very good
Fairways were in excellent condition. The greens were very very slow, but due to heavy rain overnight. Cart path only for all but the last hole, again due to heavy rain. Best condition fairways I've seen all summer long here in Phoenix.
Of the two attendants I interacted with, one was very friendly and helpful. The other, helpful, answered my question, but seemed irritated to do so.
