The JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa is among the largest golf resorts in Arizona with 865 guest rooms and suites. It is an amenity of the next door Wildfire Golf Club, home to two full-length, 18-hole golf courses designed by Nick Faldo and Arnold Palmer. The resort features five pool areas, including a lazy river and water slide, as well as the more exclusive and quiet Griffin Bay pool area. There is also a fitness center, full-service Revive Spa and tennis courts. Managed by Marriott Golf, there is a kids program and kids play golf free at Wildfire Golf Club with a paid adult.

Great destination course

The course was in great condition considering it was over 100 degrees. The 108 bunkers are challenging, especially the deep ones. Desert golf at its best.

Grassy greens

Really nothing bad to say about this course sometimes I can be a negative person but in all honesty the course is very playable for all and I understand when you play in July and August the greens can’t be cut short and fast cause it’s too hot I just wish they could of been a bit faster cause at times it felt like putting was taken out other than that everyone working there very nice and course in great condition

Faldo Course-Wildfire Golf Course

From the moment I arrived the whole experience with staff,set up and then playing was outstanding. Over from Australia, first time playing this course, and third trip to Arizona, and I can honestly say it’s right up their with the best that I’ve played…

Course was in immaculate condition, greens were pure to putt on, and you could not get a bad lie on any fairway. I honestly highly recommend this course to anyone, I for sure will be back to play the other resort Course on next trip
