cadjogi thank you for the review. I am glad you enjoyed your time with us! We look forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future!
Avoid at all costs
I don’t think I have ever left a review for a golf course before (or anything for that matter) but I don’t want people wasting their money. I have played this course many times but this is my first in the last 5 or so years. It used to be nice, now, Absolute trash.
First, we had a friend just wanting to ride with and enjoy the the day, had never hit or planned to hit a ball. Front manager couldn’t understand that so we paid $112 for them to ride in the cart we already had, huh? Checked all of our drivers licenses like he was a cop to make sure we weren’t scamming the “resident rate”.
$20 for a bucket of range balls for a range that is unusable. The range is all mats that haven’t been replaced since Vietnam with some weird metal rods underneath. Couldn’t use the dumb tee things because they were full of broken tees. hit 4 balls and left.
Course: there is legitimate trash all over the course, like actual trash, never seen such a thing. Greens are hard as a rock, we didn’t repair one ball marker because it was impossible to leave one, bunkers are hard as a rock, there is no GPS.
We finished in just over 5 hours. One good thing, the ranger was awesome as we were stacked up three foursomes deep, he got the guys a couple groups in front of us moving and pace of play def improved.
For $112 plus tax, plus range balls, for a grand total of $142. this is not, i repeat, not the place to play.
Jpitt1314, thank you for the review. I deeply apologize that this was your experience with us. There are some very concerning things that happened during your time with us, some of which do not line up with other comments we have seen, and I would like to discuss with you in greater detail what happened. Please reach out to me directly so we can discuss this further; jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. - Jeff Rosen, GM
Stonecreek
Course was in very good condition, lots of rain this spring. We played with fun couple that were both good players. I played from black tees and other gentleman played gold tees. Women played silver. Should miss distance since now 79. Play correct tees to get more enjoyment.
u00000938730, thank you for the wonderful review. We are pleased with the way the course conditions are at and are very excited for our creek project this upcoming summer! I will be sure to share your review with our staff. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you again next time you are in town!
Bad Course
This is my second review. You responded to the first review but you response would not open?
*Paid $15 for a bucket of balls!
*Then not able to use a driver on the range which the pro shop did not let us know before we purchased the bucket.
* Course in rough shape
*People walking all over on the cart path from the local hotel the course is associated with.
*Homeless tent just off the fairway on #10
Terrible experience.
u544802225, terribly sorry you could not see my first response. Hopefully you are able to see this one. Please reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com so we can discuss further. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon. - Jeff Rosen; GM

Stone Creek
Front nine pace of play was fine back 9 waited 15 tand 20 minutes to tee off..skipped last 2 hoes..would have taken over an hour to play as there was another long wait on hole 17...for a high greens fee this isn't acceptable
WD2WHogZ3CpRhi00Ka02, thank you for the review. We have made a heavy focus on pace of play these past 12 months, and have made humongous strides on improving from where we were in the past. This is still a heavy focus for us, and will continue to be. Thank you again for the review, and we hope to see you again in the near future.
pauls123, thank you for the review. I am glad to see you enjoyed your time spent with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Homeless
Homeless people scattered through the trees throughout. Using the washrooms and having bikes on fairways.
u314160371324, thank you for the review. We are actively out on the course to not only maintain a good pace of play, but to also ensure the safety of our golfers. Unfortunately, we cannot be everywhere at once and certain situations arise outside of our control. If this is to happen, please notify our staff immediately so we can address anything that arises. Thank you again, and I hope you give us another opportunity in the future.
Bad choice
Terrible course to play. Paid $15 for range balls and was never told by the gentleman in the pro shop that there was no use of drivers on the driving range that day. Course was in rush shape with homeless people tenant up on the 10th Fairway, on the left side.
For another $30 I could’ve played a nice course like Dove Valley. All hot deals on GolfNow are not really deals.
u544802225, thank you for the review. We are actively working towards making course improvements everyday. Unfortunately, some situations arise outside of our control. If this is to happen, we do ask that you notify us immediately so we can address the issue promptly. Thank you again, and I hope you give us another opportunity in the future.
Shot Makers Only
You don't need distance on this course. You need accuracy and precision. Can you make the fairways to set up a clean level approach? Are you good out of the sand? You will get lots of practice. Can you hit a fade or cut off the tee box? Par 3s can be long if you can't hot it 180 yards. The course is soft now but that will change once it heats up and drys out this Summer. You get plenty of roll here. Fear the creek that runs on the right side of a lot of holes. If you slice it, you will lose balls, so bring extra if you can't fix that on course.
pauls123, thank you for the wonderful review. I am glad you enjoy our course, and the challenges it provides to a golfer of any skill! Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Electric Bike Race Track
Pace on front nine was good. When we reached 12, there was a group on the green of the par 3, and 1 group ahead of us waiting for them to clear. Before the group ahead of us got off the tee, another group came up behind us. Also, while waiting, 3 young kids on electric bikes showed up to use the hills around us as a race track, jumping the hills and racing down the cart path. No one attempted to stop them. As we moved to 13 and 14, they expanded their race track down the cart path to the end of 14. Very dangerous for golfers, the kids racing, and the many people who were out walking on the paths.
radar5585, thank you for the review. I deeply apologize that the kids on e-bikes affected your round. We are continuously working towards getting them off of our course, as well as calling the local police department to assist in this endeavor. They are faster than our carts, but we are actively out there to put this issue to a stop. If something like this is to occur on a golf course, we ask that you give our staff a call so we can handle it accordingly.
Toddvalk, thank you for the review. We look forward to serving you again soon!
Tee box accuracy mandatory
The fairways are tight and if you miss you will have a horrible lie. The grass is only manicured on fairways and greens. The rest of the course is a gamble the creek run alongside many holes and will swallow your ball with all the bush and tall grass surrounding it. The bunkers aren't too deep but they can be long and wide in most holes. The water comes in on 4 different holes. It you have a right-hand slice you will lose all your balls so bring plenty if you don't aim extra left all day. The ground is hard everywhere. Tee boxes to the greens. Lots of roll out, nothing sticks to greens unless you're playing short irons in w high spin ball. Good luck. Enjoy.
pauls123, thank you for the detailed review. We are continuously working to improve our course each and every day, and I am glad to see you enjoyed your time spent with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Do not recommend
Greedy, do not recommend unless you want to be forced to skip shots by the marshal. The marshal stated we were 3 minutes off pace when teeing off on 4 and he recognized it's the group or two in front of us, so it was a friendly FYI and not a warning in our opinion. We waited a minute or two per hole on the front 9. As we would get to the tee, the group in front would be finishing up their second shot. Then from the fairway, we'd wait for the foursome ahead to finish on the green. Group behind us waited similar on some holes, but not every hole. Not unreasonable. Then out of no where on 10 the marshal forced us to drop from the 150 yard marker and did NOT allow us to tee off, stating the group ahead was "2 holes clear" of us now. We did not even stop at the turn. By 11 we had caught back up to the group in front of us and the group behind us didn't catch us until 16. Clearly the marshal lied because two holes clear would mean the foursome ahead was already on 12 before we even teed off on 10. And the group behind us was not waiting regularly, and we didn't see them again until the green on 15. Marshal doesn't know what's going on, they just referenced a time sheet and power trips which really upset our group and the other groups we talked to after.
For the cost, the fairways are in good condition but greens and rough could use some work. Personally, I will not pay to play here again and will NOT recommend to others given our experience.
Mr. Gambrell, apologies that we are playing phone tag this week. Please give me a call back at your convenience at the number I left you a voicemail on so we can discuss this in greater detail. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Jeff Rosen - GM
