solid track in good condition tee to green
Would be great to see some of the plastic waste cleaned up
Enjoyed only playing 9 holes
Thought I had booked 18 on a HotDeal. It was only for 9. Started on 10 and it was a fun thing to do.
u000002746358, thank you for your recent review. I am glad you enjoyed our 9 hole golf and breakfast option when you played. Feel free to give us a call the next time you are in the area, and our team will help guide you with the perfect tee time for you and your group. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Slow play
They need a ranger on the course. The 3 guys in front of us on jan 17 said they were new to golf but hit from the tips and hit 2 balls off the tee on nearly every hole.
The starter spread people out well, we started on time and didn't go off until the group in front was on the par 4 green. But the first hole was the only one we didn't wait on. It was a v frustrating round and I won't go back, at least not for a long while.
debsand4, thank you for your recent review. We did have a ranger out on the course that day, and I deeply apologize the pace of play was not up to standard during your round. Please reach out to me directly so we can discuss further and I can understand better where we fell short during your round. jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you.
What a rudely staffed dump
After being met with vacant stares upon our arrival, we were quickly scolded by a geenskeeper to hit range balls off a mat instead of turf, with no signs indicating that was the rule, and plenty of divots in the turf. Subsequently we were greeted with trash strewn fairway edges and a homeless encampment. Go anywhere else..
u6176232, thank you for your recent review. I deeply apologize for your experience out here and I would like to better understand what happened so we can improve in the future and ensure this does not happen again. Please reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you. - Jeff Rosen, GM
It's a budget course
There's ~15 other courses within 15 minutes, but you can't play ~12 of them for under $100. Several don't have the water hazards that Stonecreek has. For a budget course, it serves its purpose.
The tee boxes aren't in great condition - 15 was full of divots and dirt/sand. The rough is very patchy, although some spots had decent rough (holes 1-2, 8). Greens were average speed, people need to do a better job repairing ball marks and cleaning up in the sand. Decent amount of sand in the bunkers.
There's some challenge here. Lots of slopes around the greens. 4 holes with water on one side of the green. Front 9 took the driver out of your hands - didn't hit driver until hole 7. Many holes are tree-lined on the right side - if you slice you will lose balls.
No cart GPS, no water provided, no range balls provided, range is mat only. Range didn't seem very large, only about 15-20 stalls. No ball cleaners on the course. No towels provided. QR code didn't work for the grill at the turn.
The course is built on a wash, integrated with neighborhood walking paths. You will see a dozen people walking dogs, biking, exercising on the course. There's a bunch of trash in the ravine between holes 7-9. Tons of duck/goose poop on the 14th fairway.
u314161622535, thank you for your detailed review. It is not often that we get an honest, in depth, review of this caliber and it is very much appreciated. Good detail on the course and our amenities that we can absolutely work towards improving moving forward. We do provide 2 water bottles in the coolers of all our carts, and are on grass for the range Friday - Sunday. We did stay off the grass to start this year due to the heavy frost we experienced to protect our grass in the long run which I do apologize for on this inconvenience.
If there is anything I can assist with now or in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you. - Jeff Rosen, GM
Great course but not the cleanest
This is a great course - we played in Jan during a cold stint. The negative that I wanted to mentioned was that there was a lot of trash all along the course. The most concerning part was the homeless people in the woods in the CENTER of the course - not the outskirts. I would think that the center of the course, nestled in between apartments and homes, would be more controlled. There were several times I had to give up on a ball cause it wasn’t safe to try to look for it,
Anya13, thank you for your review. We are continuously working towards cleaning up the course. We are in a flood plane for the city and after a rain we have a team dedicated to clean up. I apologize for the trash during your round. We are also actively working with the city to help with the homeless you witnessed that has since been removed, but I do apologize for the inconvenience. We hope to see you again in the future.
u000003373673, thank you for your recent review. I am glad to see you enjoyed your time spent with us! We look forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future!
Would not play again
The course was in decent shape. However, it was overbooked. Pace was play was 5 hours. My wife and I couldn't finish because we didn't plan on spending all day on the course. We got 12 holes in in 4.25 hours. Absolutely ridiculous.
u000006486843, thank you for you recent review. I apologize for the slow play during your round. We have implemented pace of play tracking and based on the date you played, we did not reach 5 hours. Please reach out to me directly so I can better understand what happened during your round. Thank you.

I wouldn’t golf stonecreek again.
Pace of play was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Tee time was at 2:36.. I personally didn’t get to tee off until at least 15-20 mins after because a whole old group of 5 looking at every shot like they are going throw a dart and just shank ALL over the place it was bad. 10-15 between each shot/tee box probably longer to be honest. Even better they put a 6 sum in front of them of just younger guys like myself but had no idea what there doing. Marshall comes up to my group of 3 hole #7 apologizes saying they put two really really bad groups in front keep in mind pace was a already almost 3 hours and if we want to skip a few holes ahead we can. I was already over it paying 73$ for this type of play. I was the only one playing 18 and told him I’ll just see if they can rain check me the other 9 he agreed and said they should no problem. I’m not one to go out my way to bash a business but it’s the fact the guy in the pro shop tried lying to my face saying they can’t rain check it because we’re on “PACE” of 4-4 1/2hrs lol I thought he was joking. People leaving right before me tee’d off at 11am its 5:15ish now but there on pace. It just felt like a pure rip off. Conditions are okay not horrible but not pure bumpy and super firm greens. So I’d be careful feels like there just stacking tee sheets overpriced letting people do whatever to keep income flowing. Worse experience I’ve had all year and I play a couple times a week scratch golfer. Unless you get a super hot deal or something cheap there’s so so many other courses that are PUUUURE and great pace. I should of at least been able to play 15-16 definitely finish with no hold up but instead I left on hole 7.
Jtorrence20, thank you for your review. I deeply apologize for the experience you had with us here. That is not at all what we want our guests to go through, and by no means what we want to be known for. Please reach out to me so we can discuss further. jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. - Jeff Rosen, GM

They don’t care
1. The driving range itees are a mess and not level, and the range balls old and and not included.
2. They don’t have ball washers on the course, they should provide towels. They don’t.
3. The tees are awful. They’re small and completely destroyed. If you are trying to stay within the two club distance of the markers, you will be standing in divots.
4. For hour and 40 minute round, enough said.
prettywork, thank you for your recent review. I would like to discuss your time spent with us in greater detail to get some specifics. Please reach out to me directly at jrosen@arcisgolf.com. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Jeff Rosen - GM
a good "value course (price point/difficulty scale)".......the back tees (Slope/yardage) are challenging enough for the avid golfer.

Pace of play too slow.
Because of a rainfall the night before, the power carts were not allowed on the course, so the pace of play was WAY too slow. We started on the back nine, at 12:57pm and it took over 2.5 hours to finish nine holes! We didn’t see any course assistant after the 2nd hole we played. When we started the front 9, the fairways were now dry and carts should have been permitted on the course! This would have sped up okay for sure. The course assistant tried to move the groups along on the front 9 (which was our second 9), but without success.
For the green fee paid at 12:57pm, there should have been no problem to finish in the daylight! We played the last two holes, with not much light to spare, at 5:35pm.
Management should take into consideration how to speed up play or give a discount if carts are not permitted on the course. It made for an unpleasant, painful round of golf!
clownfish, thank you for your recent review. I deeply apologize for the pace of play during your round. We have put a heavy emphasis on pace of play this year and we fell short during your round. Please reach out to me directly so we can discuss further. jrosen@arcisgolf.com

Greens are ready
The course is still coming out of overseed, so the fairways and rough are affected by all the watering. The greens are already in peak shape.

I like the course
The course was a bit different. There are some interesting challenges and risk return decissions. Greens were slow but in better shape than the rest of the course.

jgo3434, thank you for your review. We are actively working towards cleaning up the creek. Unfortunately we are in the middle of the wash for the city, but we do dedicate specific shifts to cleaning up the course. Thank you again for the feedback, and we look forward to seeing you again in the not too distant future!
