Guests may enjoy rooms and suites overlooking the course, which also deliver in space and comfort. A complimentary breakfast buffet and free drinks at happy hour in the hotel lounge are additional amenities available, not to mention an outdoor pool. The hotel is within 6 miles of hiking trails at Camelback Mountain and is conveniently located near a large outdoor shopping mall as well as minutes from Scottsdale Airport and 60 different restaurants. Course is in horrible condition
I’ve played Stonecreek many times but not for a few years. What a shock! The course is in deplorable condition and not worth even the inexpensive summer rates.

Ok course, staff needs fixing.
Course was in ok condition, ranger was rude and not only tried to tell us on the first hole what we can’t do, but also tried to force us to pick up our pace of play. Pace is 4hours, and we were on track. Definitely won’t be back to this location.

First time playing the course
Enjoyed the round. Definitely hazards you may not be aware of. Gotta keep it straight and in the fairway.

Disappointed with the course, fairways and some greens were good, but alot of the greens were very bumpy. Around the fairways and most tee boxes need some TLC.

Greens where fast; fairways ok for summertime…it’s hot here so not the best time of the year for the grass to grow in fully due to heat. All in all pretty good shape.

Disappointed
Small bucket of range balls $16. Practice range - worn out mats in bad shape. All tee boxes looked like nobody has moved them in a week, bad shape. Fairways and greens were in decent shape. I will not be playing here anytime soon.

Was a fan, but...
I've always liked Stonecreek and thought it was always a great deal for the price. I was VERY excited when they cleaned out the creek beds and thought more improvements were on the way. Well, months have passed and the conditions seem to be deteriorating rather than improving. I'd like to return to play there some day but I don't think it will be for quite some time.

Stonecreek GC
We noticed that the fairways have very tight lies. You have definitely have to strike “ball first” or the club tends to bounce on you. Greens are small and the course favors strategic shot placement. Other than that it’s a nice challenge.
The staff is friendly and the accommodations are very nice.

It has always been a nice course to play, but this time 3 or 4 holes had been aerated in the fairways and the plugs filled the fairway which made play kind of difficult. The price should have been reduced just because of that situation.

Course is always in horrible shape. They get by simply on location and visitors not knowing better.
