While The Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale and Stonecreek Golf Club do not market themselves together as a golf resort, the course is just steps away from the front lobby. Guests may enjoy rooms and suites overlooking the course, which also deliver in space and comfort. A complimentary breakfast buffet and free drinks at happy hour in the hotel lounge are additional amenities available, not to mention an outdoor pool. The hotel is within 6 miles of hiking trails at Camelback Mountain and is conveniently located near a large outdoor shopping mall as well as minutes from Scottsdale Airport and 60 different restaurants. Stonecreek Golf Club is a unique desert golf experience with an expansive pro shop and clubhouse and also features its own restaurant for after your round.Facts

Don’t Bother
I have never reviewed a course before, but this experience was so horrific that I felt a moral responsibility to.
We had an 8:30 tee time. We left the course after 16 holes at 1:15. Five hours and 15 minutes and couldn’t even complete the round. A marshal came to address the pace once, on hole 15. If your idea of fun is sitting and waiting 20 minutes per shot, this is the spot for you. If not, look elsewhere.
If that was not bad enough, it also feels like a public park. There are random people sitting around the course plucking golf balls off the course, and bikers everywhere you look. Tried to tee off on one hole and had 4 kids on motorized bikes fly by and ride down the fairway. The amount of barking dogs walking up and down the course was mind blowing and unacceptable. This is not a golf course, it’s a public green space with some holes and flags scattered around.
The staff were lovely. It is just a shame they represent such a tragic example of poor golf course management.
Plenty of other good courses in Scottsdale. Choose them before even considering playing here.

Disappointing
Very disappointed with the condition of the course. Weeds in bunkers, trash all over the course, bathroom was a mess.
Slow pace of play, which is somewhat expected, and the ranger is on our case twice (when clearly we were not the group holding up the show)
If you are paying more than $50 to play this course you are getting ripped off.

Love the twilight rates. Play some golf and have a beer or two and call it a good day!

Course was in great shape! Greens rolled perfect. Fun layout. EXTREMELY great value for a round of golf.

Slow and super dry
