The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

For a good time Red is great
Course was in good shape. PA was perfect and very friendly staff. Nice golf course.
First time we played the red course
Starter was very nice played with a couple from Nova Scotia who were great The course was in good shape Pins were in tough spots Greens were good. Everything was good 18 th hole was a bit tricky. Service in the restaurant is a bit spotty took a while for a waiter to service
Overall a really good day
Wigwam Blue
Played on a Sunday morning. Staff were friendly. Be sure you I head into the men’s locker room and grab a coffee and hear about some of the history of the club. Bob was working the drink station in the locker room, and has been at Wigwam for over 25 years.
The greens were in excellent condition. Some difficult pins made for a lot of fun golf.
Great Value (almost 5 stars)
Excellent value for peak season. Paid under $100 for the round. Peak Golf season in PHX is ridiculously expensive. I would have given 5/5 stars if the pace of play was a little faster and the bathrooms out on the course were usable.
I will absolutely be back to play here. Staff is great. Course layout is fun. Greens and fairways are in great shape.
Great course on the west side
This course is always in great condition. Great value for the cost.
Afternoon Delight
A friend and I grabbed a discounted tee time at 1:45 pm on Saturday. We got to the first tee and was greeted by the starter who told us we were the only 2some to go in an hour! We cruised around the front nine in 1.5 hours! We finally ran into a 4some at the 11th hole but we still finished our round in 3 1/2 hours! What a delightful afternoon!
A HARD course
Fast greens, on top of aircraft carrier slopes, surrounded by bunkers. I see what they were trying to do, force you t plan a roll on approach that requires advanced planning or have expert lob skills. If you just want a fun round of golf, pick the red or gold. If you want to have a highly technical focused training session that is unforgiving and sometimes obnoxiously difficult, this is the course.
This is immaculately maintained, the staff is awesome, carts and greens are near perfect. A pro who wasn’t at the top of his game would have trouble with par on some holes. Bring your sand wedge the bunkers are hiding.
Very nice course
Out standing course to play nice sand traps water around the course was perfect
Staff not very friendly or helpful course was so so played better for less money
Deano
Love this place, great course probably the best I’ve played yet on our trip, will definitely play the other courses as well.
