The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Good for One of AZ’s Flat Tracks
Nice greens, fluffy sand traps, & great service all around; especially the bev cart.
Red Course Review
Had a blast! One comment I may have to note improvement is that I don't think we saw a ranger once. Nobody was ahead of us the entire time and we kept up for the people behind us, so everything worked out, but rangers probably could have been more active.
Great Course!
We really liked this course an look forward to playing the other courses there. A bit of a wait with the 2 groups in front of us. Other than that if you want challenge play here.
Blue course
We enjoyed the round and will be back. The starter was great since we were a 1st time golfer at this course
Wigwam
Great old course, in great shape. Always fun to play,
Phenooooominal
Excellent golf course, could use more water. Although the entire state is in a severe drought. Will be back again soon.
Thank You Wigwam Staff and Groundskeepers
Adios
Beautiful course with the friendliest staff
From the time you drop off your bag until you leave the property, staff members are there to advise and help you navigate everything. The starter Tim was a pleasure to converse with while waiting to tee off. Pace of play was thankfully decent since it was well over 100°. Less than 3.5 hours. Greens were very slow but putted true. Fairways were excellent, especially considering the severe heat wave in progress. Only negative is the tight proximity of some of the tee boxes. Can get a little scary at times. Great place to play though.
Will definitely return! Will try Gold course next time, but loved the blue! Terrific staff & friendly workers in restaurant too! (19th hole).
Awesome course
Course was awesome. Extremely good conditions for this time of year. Greens/fairways were amazing but a few bunkers were getting worked on which is normal for this time of year. But no complaints. Cant beat the value for the money. Definitely play this course. Will be back very soon!
Saturday at Wigwam Red
Course is in good shape. The greens are in great shape and running quick. I played on Saturday and finished around 2 p.m. Unfortunately, the refreshment shack was closed. So bring water if you have an afternoon tee time.
Great summer conditions
The course is in really good shape compared to others in the west valley right now. The greens are rolling very good and receptive to good approach shots.
Will play again
We played the Blue course. Staff were fantastic, greens were small but overall everything was very well kept especially for this time of year. Will play again for sure.
