Super nice course!!
Always a good time at paint Mountain. The course is usually in tiptop shape.
Pace of play horrible due to cart path only and poor spacing of groups
Cart path only… groups not spaced out enough… currently waiting to tee off on hole 6.. started at 2:30 it’s 4pm update finally on hole 9 its 5:05pm update 6pm made it to hole 12… took 3:30 hours to play 12 holes because of the cart path only and poor spacing of players… paid for 18 only able to play 12
Price Gouged
Agreed to a tee time and a certain price and had to renegotiate the price and still payed more than agreed upon. And they did this to a group of 21 of us
Bad experience
Too much to list so I'll keep it brief. Got to course early and checked in. Went back to starter 5 min before tee time as instructed by signs, my group had already been sent off, now on tee box 2, I skipped hole 1 to catch up, only to discover the next hole 3 groups waiting on tee box. The fairways were dry and dirt, this is AFTER overseeding. I had to leave course early because I didn't have 5 hrs to burn on golfing.
Les the golfer
Pace of play was excellent. Nice course. Need to play it again to get used to the slow greens. Overall a great day and the staff is very friendly.
Fun but difficult because of cart path only
The gravel areas are poor and cart path only was hard for seniors with hip and knee issues. The fairway was generally good for this time of year.
After Overseed-okay
Overseed is done, cart path only(played on 10/14). Can be a bit of a walk if you’re way off the cart path. Staff was great! Most tee boxes green grass, couple with just sand. Fairways ok with a couple areas of standing water, most bunkers were puddles/mud/wet sand. Greens a bit shaggy and slow, normal right now. Pace of play a bit slower due to cart path only. Seems they finally finished the ladies restroom at the turn and noticed a few other clean ups! 👍 I’d say improved!
Slow, no water
Saturday pace of play was almost 5 hours. Cart path only. All water jugs were empty, called pro shop and they delivered a single bottle of water. No cart girl. Every hole was backed up for at least 10 minutes. Course was in fine shape.
Pace of play is worst issue
A little below average course for the valley. No range to adequately warm up but nice putting area. The true issue was the starter sending a number of groups one after the other and no marshal to keep pace of play ion pace. Lots of sitting around waiting for slow players is not the way to manage a course.
