Fantastic Course!

Always a great day when you get out to Play Yocha Dehe. Pace of play is never an issue, course is always in fantastic condition. My favorite course in the Sacramento area. If you haven't played here, it is worth the drive.

A GEM in the country

Cache Creek's Yocha Dehe is a great find. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the staff is attending to your needs. Smiles, willing to help and quite attentive. After nine, the staff refreshes the water and ice on your cart. At the end of the round they offer a hot towel to you. And the course is well maintained and quite nice. Enjoy

Above & beyond

From the time you arrive, until your hot towel at the end of the round, it really is like being a member of a private course. First time playing with the new clubhouse finished, and it makes the whole experience that much better. Pace was 4:15, greens as true as any you've played, and friendly staff. Our rounds were 91 & 73, and both players enjoyed it equally. You won't be disappointed!

Challenging and Fun at the same time

Each time I play here, the course has always been in good condition. A challenge, but fair. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. It was one of the winter, cloudy and cool days with only about 50 player on the course that day. The round took 3 1/2 hours. We thought about a reply, but ended up at the casino instead

Conditions, atmosphere, & experience...

Conditions, atmosphere, & experience are all top notch.
Upon arrival the attendant took our bags and setup the cart for us. Not really what we expected and they did put the bags on the wrong side, but a nice gesture nonetheless. After hitting a few balls from the range/warm up area (which is nicer than most courses IMO), another attendant called our time and escorted us to the first tee since we were starting off on #10. The starter seemed a little out of place and could have been somewhere else other than actually ON the teebox- This caused a bit of a backup of other golfers and it is unnerving to tee off at such a nice course-let alone having an audience of strangers! Tee times are pricey and this course is a luxury outing, lets give a a little elbow room to us golfers. Please have your starters give their monologue further back from the teeboxes, this will ensure Yocha's integrity and demeanor are consistently represented. The course is meticulously maintained and as a result, many holes are cart path only. The pictures of this course seem enhanced, but in person it is even more spectacular! Playing from the whites was still a challenge at over 6K yards as the greens were rolling at easily a 10. The beverage staff was available several times if needed and never distracting at all. To that note, there was a person riding a quad in a neighboring vineyard that was very distracting, as it seemed like he was doing time trials or something...but I digress.
The entire round took over 4 hours (yikes), but didn't seem that long, as we hardly saw anyone in front of or behind us.
Other than that, I banged out my 90 and closed out the day just as the sun dipped past the hillside.
TL;DR: Yocha DeHe is a fantastic golf course with great atmosphere and design, albeit a few administrative hiccups.

Unquestionably the best in greater Sacramento

The Yocha Dehe experience is clearly unmatched around here. From bag drop professionalism and plentiful courteous staff, fair and high quality course design from tee to green, (all tees), you will want to play this course again and again. Tee boxes are well placed and flat. Fairways are generous but demanding, and greens are appropriately sized and sloped to match the hole design. For a low-mid handicapper, this course will grow your game and love for golf.

top notch facility

First time at this course. Great facility. They did not hold back building this facility. Nice layout and overall very good condition. Only negative at all would be that the greens were somewhat beat up. Lots of ball marks and spike marks. They were quite fast and firm. Great considering it's the end of November. Will endure the hour and a half drive to play again but only at the discounted rate on golfnow.

Marshall

The last two times we've played the Marshall told us to pick up our speed of play, the first time we were on pace according to our cart computer and we couldn't see the groups behind us and they ended up finishing 15/20 minutes after us and the group behind them was a good half hour behind, on our most recent outing it was cart path only because of reseeding, we were running 8 minutes behind and finished 2 minutes behind, not bad for 4 players walking to and from the cart to play... We play to relax, not be pushed... We've played many resort course, ant this is the only one we get pushed at, being country club members we understand pace of play and ready golf..

Amazing!!!

This course had 4.7 stars and deserved all five. We played on a day after it had been raining and the course still played very well. The people are the most friendly people I have ever come acclross at any golf facility! I drove an hour and a half to play here and will defiantly be going back!

Great golf course for serious players

One of the best golf courses to play in Northern California. If you are a golfer and like to play good tracks then this is the course for you.

The course is well maintained and looks like a PGA layout. The views are very nice and the course is easy to get around.

It feels like a country course setting with a cost. The food was good but they do not have enough servers when it gets busy.

Yocha Dehe

It was an excellent outing. The course ws in good shape except for one hole on the back nine that had substantial damage from wild pigs. A good value for the money.

Great course at a Great Value

This course is about 1.25 hours to get to, but well worth it through Golf Now.
This spectacular course is well maintained and has a variety of tee boxes for every level, although it is not for the beginner golfer.
