Brown Fairway. I think this is the 9th fairway but it is typical of all fairways. Photo submitted by sherpaboy on 02/12/2022

Stay away - did not finish round because of poor quality
Fairways were in awful shape. The grounds were cratered and scorched. By far the bumpiest fairways I've ever seen, driving the cart on the course was painful. Even the cart paths were broken, uneven, and just as unfriendly on your body. Charging $80 is robbery for this course.
Stay away from this course
After staying away for 5 years I decided to give it another try. I got burned AGAIN. This course is garbage. The best part is the posting in the cart that said “major renovations coming”. What a joke! They’ve been saying that for years maybe even a decade. Fake promises. Avoid this place.
Worst Condition Course I ever Played
Carlton Oaks should be embarrassed to provide the worst condition course I've played. Run down, terrible greens, dirt fairways patches. I would call this course a Dog Patch or a Cow Pasture. That's being nice. Called the course before I made reservation and was told the course was in good conditions. Lies and that is unacceptable. Told the Pro shop after the round and they didn't care at all. Don't' waste your Money on this DOG PATCH.
STAY AWAY
Awesome Day
Great value- only disappointment was the couple ahead of me were extremely slow playing. I took 4x as many strokes as they did and had to constantly wait for them to clear the hole. It's a fun course but challenging to me because I'm not very good YET
Getting better
It’s getting better. The course conditions have improved since the last time we played there. It was a bout a year ago. The driving conditions are kinda gnarly on the back 9 but it’s manageable. For $49 you can’t beat it. Carts are also nicer now. Place would be perfect if all of the driving paths were smoothed out, and a few of the rougher fairways got a little love.
Bumpy as could be
Laser bumped off magnet several times due to the holes and uneven terrain. What does it take to smooth-out the holes and dips?
I like this place
They're about to do some construction around and on(?) the course so there are bare areas they may not be maintaining. New carts were nice. Friendly people.
Pete Dye
Pete Dye courses are not easy and we should feel fortunate that we have one we can play at a reasonable rate. I love the challenge even though I am an 18 index.
