Great track

Short course, but a challenging layout. If you spry you driver don' t bring it and use your three wood because the fairway bunkers are very deep. Traditional desert target golf. Staff was awesome.

Amazing facility with challenging golf

This facility is definitely a 5 star. The staff was great. The course marshal was extremely nice, even brought us ice cold towels (this was July - 100+ degrees). As a group, the guys loved it. As gals, we found it pretty difficult. Green fairways with manicured greens.

Very nice course with top notch customer service

The minute I arrived at bag drop everything was taken care of. Bags to cart, driving range included and 9 hole putting course. They provide a notification vob that tells you when to head to first tee. This was my first Desert Plam experience and it was awesome. I highly recommend this golf resort!

Great course & this is a great time to play it

Good value for this time of the year. Course was in great shape & it was not hot this day. Plus they gave extra discount for the temp.

Beautiful course, first class operation all the way.

We live in Palm Desert so usually we play at our "home" course, Desert Willow. But in the summer, it is possible to play other courses at reasonable prices, so we headed over to Indian Wells Celebrity course. We found the staff to be helpful, the greens immaculate (though tricky) and the conditions excellent. We especially noted the amount of shade, compared to many desert courses. It is really nice to have so much shade available in the summer! And the many water features were at least mentally cooling and nice to look at. We will definitely return. Also, we had a really delicious lunch in the restaurant afterwards. And the "special" was a Grey Goose Martini for $7, so took advantage of that, too! It was a good day.

Nice facility

Only problem the fairways are too wet, balls do not go anywhere and they get muddy after every shot !

Don't try and eat the mango towel.

The best course I have played out of season. I'm sure the place is amazing during the winter time. The mango towel was a life saver. Staff was great. 5 star treatment from start to finish

Fun Course, Great staff

I loved the course but that might just be because I shot my personal low there. That always seems to help! Definitely a balance of holes from easy to quite challenging depending on what tee box you decide to play. The greens rolled very true and were consistent across all 18 which was nice to see. The staff was friendly and the beverage cart was around every other hole to make sure we were stocked with extra ice and whatever else we needed. Water stations were also spaced every third hole so hydration wasn't a problem at all. The GPS on the carts were great and allowed for a better understanding of your layup or tee shot with the use of a touch screen. Sand was consistent and quite manageable assuming you didn’t get to aggressive. Some of the bunkers had steep lips and made for a good penalty. The only knock in my opinion were the last 3 holes. They clearly have had some growth problems in a few areas either around the green or in the fairways which have been resodded. That being said the greens were not affected and frankly it didn't have too much of an impact other than aesthetics.

Great staff excellent course very challenging!!!

I absolutely loved my golf experience. The only negative I can take from my experience was that it was 108 degrees outside. The staff was fantastic and helpful and the course was in spectacular shape despite the temps outside green was soft and fast and the fairways were firm. I will definitely play I Dian wells again when I get a chance.-Casey

Great experience

I played in the afternoon in 120 degree heat. I booked it thru Golfnow and paid $40.00. My tee time was at 3.20 but I had played earlier and got done well before so I arrived around 2.15. They let me go off whenever I wanted so I hit a few balls loaded up with water and off I went. With the exception of the starter , physEd ( yes that is his name, he had it legally changed, he was proud to say) who was super friendly, I saw one other ranger on the course who made sure I was drinking enough water. There were water stations every third hole but some were not dispensing ice, I don't know If it was the heat, but there were coolers of ice so no problem.
I was told by Tom in the pro shop that the course was in very good condition for that time of year. He was right. It did not disappoint. I played the players course and from the orange tees it was perfect for my game. I am told the Players course is not as pretty as the Celebrity course but I thought it was just the right amount of "pretty" for me. This isn't Augusta!!
I loved the fact that coming off sixteen you have no idea where the last two holes are. Follow the cart path and you come to a great short 17th and a tough 18th. Play it and you will see what I mean.
Great staff, well stocked pro shop and great course. This would definitely be on my must play when in this area.

Pace of play is too long on hot day

Apart from the construction noise adjacent to the driving range this venue is a very serene and beautiful course to play. Numerous tees allow all level of golfers to enjoy their outing.

Amazing course

In town on vacation and played many courses in Palm Springs this week and this one was my favorite. Every single staff member was really nice and knowledgeable about the course. Course was in great shape even when the heat was over 110 degrees each day the week before. A lot of fun holes with challenging par 5s. The resort/club house was also very nice.

Must hit the ball straight

Very nice course on a small piece of property. Tight fairways and good bunkers. Greens hard to read compared to other local courses. Played in three hours on a weekend. A must play if in the area.

Great track!

While a little pricey for late June in Palm Springs, it was well worth it. Course is in great shape and the views incredible. Better bring an accurate tee game and have your green reading sharp. Would highly recommend!

Must play if you are in palm Springs

The players course is kept in incredibly beautiful condition for late June, it is really green and the putting surfaces were in great shape. The friendliness of the pro shop staff, starter and the ice delivering marshals made a great day even better. The fairways have narrowed choke points which catch you if you miss your line from the tee box. back nine was in need of a little more attention, but there were plenty of workers in operation on this date. Club house is very nice and had a good sale on, so bought a couple of nice polo tee shirts as a souvenir. Had a good day and will play again next time we visit.

Nicest course I have ever played.

This course is beatiful. I have played all over the country and this isthe nicest I have ever played by far. Pebble Beach might be the only course that I liked more but they were booked and it cost too much anyways.
