Hole #12 I believe. Photo submitted by Trailerteri on 04/03/2013
lovely views
I FELT THE COURSE IS BEAUTIFUL AND HAD SOME GREAT HOLES. I FEEL THERE SHOULD BE VISIBLE YARD MARKINGS ON THE COURSE SO GOLFERS DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND SO MUCH TIME TRYING TO FIGIRE OUT THE HOW FAR TO THE GREEN. MAYBE SOME LARGE ROCKS AT THE 100, 150, AND 200 YARDS OR GPS CARTS
Service, Service, Sevice.
Excellent service from the time I arrived at the bag drop to the time I left. Course is in great shape. I have played many course of this quality, but paid much more.
This course has great condition.
I have played on Christmas vacation wirth my family.
It is good weather even winter. I have scored 5 over par.
I was very happy. I want to play again.
One of my favorite courses in the desert. Beautiful views toward the mountains.
This is one of the best courses here in the desert. There is great variation in the holes. The back nine is my favorite although the par 5 #4 over water at base of the hill and the par 3 #6 with great water features all along the right side of the hole is a great hole. You will really enjoy playing this course unless you like courses that "beat you up" of which there are several here in the desert.
A real gem in the Desert !
We played as a 2-some on the Player's Course in the morning, starting about 9:00. It became obvious we would want a shot at their $25 replay rate in the afternoon, as the quality of the Player's Course unfolded. But sundown (4:45 PM) was the challenge. We finished before 12:30, we hustled onto the 1st tee of the Celebrity Course, we hit the ball by about 12:35. I was expecting the Celebrity Course to be not nearly as good or challenging as the Player's Course. Wrong...that course was nearly the equal to the Player's. What a great 36 holes ! We finished by 4:30 with still plenty of light. Both courses were impeccably maintained ! Ther staff was great ! The greens were great ! The whole facility was exceptional ! We'll come back in a New York minute ! Thanks !
This course is absolutely beautiful with rolling hills and fabulous water features.
This course is a delight to play. Wonderful rolling hills and waterfeatures that are so natural looking and sounding that one thinks they are in the mountains . It was the first time we played it and it was difficult to concentrate on our games as we were so busy looking at the fabulous scenery. Indian Wells has done a great job with super friendly staff and a very efficient service level. Bag boy ordered our car from valet as soon as we came in from our round and by the time we reached the front entrance everything was ready for us to get into the car and drive away. No waiting at all. Would definitely give it a l0 out of 10.
Bucket list golf course
A must play before you die. Played the Celebrity course can't wait to get back and try the Players course.
Best course in Coachella Valley!!
Beautiful setting! Outstanding experience! Course has a great mixture of long difficult holes and short challenging ones.
Beautiful course
It was a beautiful course but the greens were very difficult. Take your camera for some great shots. We played it as a birthday gift to myself after seeing it on Big Break. Loved the course a bit pricey but how often does one play a course like that.
the best course we played
We played three golf courses in the area and Indian Wells was the best by far. Thje staff was very friendly and helpful. The course (Celebrity) was sufficiently challenging for a mixed foursome. Conditioning of the golf course was outstanding. This was the best vlaue for the money that we found.
Fair and fun golf course
Indian Wells complex is very nice and the staff are super pleasant and helpful. Course was in great condition although a bit soggy in spots (we played cart path only) and the greens were probably a bit slower than later in the season. Neither of those issues bothered me at all. Very nice views and staff provided good course ambiance. Played in late November and you must tee off before noon to be confident of finishing 18 in reasonable light.
Excellent course, picturesque and challenging!
Very great experience on this course - something to challenge yourself on every hole. A must do, for golfers going to Palm Springs on holidays!
We were slowed down on the back 9 - and this made a back up unfortunately - so a suggestion to keep the pace of play with marshalls.
Excellent course. Tough course on a windy day.
Excellent course. I enjoyed my round. As a 15 handicap, I should not have played the blue tees but it was not my call.
The course was beautifully landscaped and if you could stay on the narrow fairways. Relatively easy to play.
The course was one of the most scenic we have played. It had been open for a week after re-seeding which allowed for cart path only. Our only complaint was that none of the sprinkler heads were marked and therefore, made it difficult to get a read on yardage with cart path only.
Nice - But Not Really Worth the Extra Cash
The course conditions at the Indian Wells Celebrity course were as nice as any course in valley. It had smooth fast greens, lush fairways, level tees, and well kept sand traps. However it doesn't get 5 stars from me for the following reasons - minimal available parking anywhere close to the clubhouse, terrible signage (couldn't find the clubhouse), a rushed feel prior to tee time, and SLOW and BAD play once we were on the course. In general, I have found that the higher the cost of the course, the slower and worse the golfers are on that course. One more point. The Celebrity Course has an odd mixture of holes. This par 72 course has only 2 par 5s, and 2 par 3s. The remaining 14 holes are all par 4s.
Nice to play a non-desert course in the desert. Magnificant views, extremely freindly staff, margaritas on-tap on the beverage cart!
Outstanding venue and value. Only negative was slow play due to large outing out ahead of us. Can't wait to play there again. fantastic clubhouse/bar.
Immaculate & uplifting!
This is a great course! We loved it! Great service!
Great views
Not cheap, but definitely a place you'll remember. Super friendly staff, great views, difficult but fair course. The only thing I didn't like was the mats on the driving range, but a small complaint about a course you'll love.
Beautiful course.
Great views with incredible scenery. The course just went thru its annual reseeding and in my opinion they shouldn't let you play the course when you have to play with your cart on the cart path only. Invariably I ended up on the opposite side of the fairway and it took a lot of my energy to play in the afternoon in 90-100 degree days and walk the course mostly. Just sayin.....
Great course. Will play it again
Awesome views. Very playable for just about anyone.
