Arrived to a beautiful course with wonderful club house great staff just can't say enough very hot day plenty of water delivered with grapes tacos at turn shaved ice cold towels can't speak highly enough I work at country club and this rivals the best clubs I've worked and visited.

Super course. Pristine conditions. Greens roll true. Level of difficulty high. Strong practice facility. Stayed in condo. Ate all food at the clubhouse restaurant which was excellent. Service wonderful.

The layout and condition were excellent. It was 40mph winds at times so the golf was challenging but very fun!

We played during the late morning. Its a tough drive from San Diego. The driving range is great and has range finders on every other stall. The staff was nice and took the time to give us the lay of the land, and warned us about how hard the course was playing. He wasnt kidding. It was beyond hard. My sone hit a couple drives over 350 yards because of the run out on the fairways. Greens were equally hard and didnt hold a shot. This made it hard on a VERY windy day. Free street tacos on 10 and 14 didnt hurt.

nice course, but a bit of a hike to get there. An March weather was extremely windy making the course extra challenging

Rams Hill never disappoints. This was my 4th trip out to Borrego Springs and it was spectacular as always. The course is in amazing shape and the staff is all super friendly... Also definitely recommend getting some tacos at the turn. The best!

Came down with a friend who’s been raving about Rams Hill for a few years. I finally made the trip with him and I’ll be back again. We’re thinking about signing up for the 2 man tournament called the Clash. My friend played a couple years ago with his brother and had a blast.

This course is one of a kind. You are surrounded by beautiful Mountain View’s on an undulating course designed by Tom Fazio. The weather is great this time of year and the tacos at the turn are a delightful treat! The greens are fast and the course is challenging but no matter what, you’ll leave with a smile on your face! I would recommend this course to all levels of golfers looking to play a unique gem in the desert.

Very disappointing. We have been coming to the La Quinta area for years and have been wanting to play Rams Hill for a while based on friends recommendations and GolfPass ratings. I wish we would have listened to the recent lower reviews of the course. It appears the experiment with new grass is not working. Many of the recent reviews talked about rock hard fairways and greens - they were spot on. All of the fairways were rock hard and good shots often rolled off he fairway into the rough or bunker. The greens were very hard and did not hold a shot, however they did roll true once you got the ball to stay on it. There was one fairway with at least 4 ground under repair spots and every fairway had at least one. An excellent course should have one or maybe two on the entire course. There were many other spots where there was little or now grass in the fairway.

Replies to previous complaints said the grass will soften up in late Feb or early March, but we did not see that and the grass appears to have died in many areas. If management acknowledges the course is not at peak condition, then why charge peak prices.

This course is not worth the drive from the La Quinta area, there are so many better maintained courses much closer at a much better price.

One bright spot - the tacos at the turn - they were excellent.
