La Quinta Resort & Club

Perfect for a golfer who can stand the heat and wants to play a PGA style golf course for cheap. Place was empty and conditions were great.

The staff went out of their way to make the experience off the charts. The course was amazing and exceeded expectations.

Great course. It was hot when we played . We were done 30 minutes ahead of time .

It was a nice course. Had a few mountain holes but I was expecting more. Course was challenging. Greens were good but fairways has lot of brown patches. Bunkers were rock hard. I chipped out of the bunkers. Overall I enjoyed my round

Great course in excellent condition. Amenities were amazing!

Very challenging course. Mentally tough with all the obstacles. You have to be precise with many shots from the 4th hole onwards. Holes 5 thru 7 are three of the best stretch of holes in the Desert. Bunkers can be deadly on several holes. Course condition was very solid considering the month of July & the heat. Lots of water given out at the start. There is a reason why this course is part of the PGA Tour!

While the mountain course is known to be the lesser of the PGA West clubs, the condition of the course and the indifference of the staff are shameful. The entire front 9 is essentially a bog, with poor water management leading to bare fairways and swampy depressions on every hole. Greenside bunkers are essentially playground sand with no depth, dried solid. The few remaining trees are lopped off and sickly making the whole scene just sad.

Making the turn, we stopped for a snack and the staff were clearly miserable; behaving as if we were troubling them for a prepackaged sandwich and a drink. Back nine was in marginally better shape, roughly average for off-season in this area.

I’ve lived here for 3 years and this was - by far - the most pitiful experience I’ve had. The PGA West brand holds zero value for me after this.

Play ANYWHERE else.

From the minute you get there you are treated like you belong there. From The bag staff, the pro shop the restaurant and snack bar to the starter just a great experience.

I have played here multiple times and it never disappoints

Beautiful, really hard but all right in front of you it is in fantastic shape even in late June

The tee boxes are well kept the fairways are as well not a bad lie unless your not in them lol, but even though the rough is difficult it is playable.. the sand traps are all in perfect shape the greens are unbelievable, they are firm and fast but roll perfectly. A fantastic day on a fantastic golf course I will be back thank you PGA West!!!!

The staff were fantastic, the course could have been in a bit better shape. There were several areas of fairway that were burnt and or bare, and the green were very slow. Other than that playable and enjoyable with very beautiful backdrops to the mountains.
