PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain Course

We had 2 foursomes playing and couldn’t have had a more enjoyable time. The weather was fantastic and the staff friendliness made the whole experience wonderful! Can’t wait to get back there and play it again!

Great fun course. Amazing scenery with playing by the side of mountains on many holes.

Fantastic course in the mountains. So many great holes. Especially the corner from hole 14 to 16 is phenomenal.

Played Stadium and Nick the prior day and LOVED the experience. Courses were in amazing condition and the staff there went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Almost the exact opposite experience at this course. Showed up 2 hours before our tee time to get checked in, grab a bite and then hit the range. Person who checked us in was great, but that's where it stopped.

We grabbed breakfast and there were 4 other patrons eating. However, that seemed to be too much for the waiter as he was frazzled and took forever to get our order - we actually ended up just going to the counter to order after we were left sitting for 20 mins without water, coffee or service.

Food took forever to come out, then had to rush to the range. Once we got to the Starter, he was nice enough but an older gentleman who was a marshal came up and was very terse with us, asking us what we were doing and why we hadn't checked in yet - we were there 10 mins early to make sure we didn't hold up pace of play. When we explained to him we were waiting for the Starter to finish so we could check in, the Marhsal just stopped talking to us and acted like we didn't exist.

We finally got out. Course was in decent condition, but for the price expected the fairways to be better. And every tee box was destroyed - almost no place to put a tee down on any of the Par 3s and most of the Par 4s.

Fairways were fine, but tones of unfilled divots (not the courses fault, just the players who didn't do the favor of what they should have done).

CartLadys were nice and we eventually ran into a different starter who was much kinder.

However, I'll never be playing this course again. Just such a HUGE jump down in quality from the other PGA West Courses I've played.

Great course with great views. Front 9 all mountains. Back 9 last 5 holes were just amazing!

Super fun course with fabulous views. Highly recommend! So much more fun to play than the Nicholas Tournament course!

Too overpriced and the pace of play was ridiculously slow. When you pay $365 you expect a lot better. Played here 8 years ago and didn’t have that problem. Food was mid but service by the food and beverage team as well at the pro shop was outstanding. That’s the one positive thing. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
