Tough course, but beautiful
Course fairways and greens were in great shape. Putting way tough and fast with lots of undulations, so difficult to read. Most fairways were relatively narrow, so straight drives really pay off. Fun to play, but the cart paths are in terrible shape, with potholes, broken out pavement, etc. Love the driving range with radar (Hot Shots?) to track each ball you hit. Go early to take advantage of it
Love course, but not the placement of groups in front of us.
We got out with the earliest tee time and were sailing along until the 8th hole, where a 2 bad playing women’s group was randomly placed in front of us on the 8th and 9th holes. We had to skip the 10th and 11th holes to play through the extremely slow two women’s groups. I really did not like it, and was not told beforehand that this was going to happen👎
Friendly staff good course
This is a narrow challenging course. You could play the whole round without wanting to using a driver(minus the massive par fives, but even then sooo narrow). It’s challenging and fun. The staff was probably one of the most friendly I’ve encountered at a golf club. They all introduced themselves and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The top golf style range was a fun warmup and the round included free range balls for a limited time.
Great Course, Wish it wasn’t punched
Amazing course with beautiful views of the mountains just wish it wasn’t punched or we got a discount for playing on a punched course
Plumas
Have played the course many times. Have always enjoyed it.
Fabulous welcome!!
This was our first time here. What a great welcome. As I had been wanting to play this course I was not disappointed. We were welcomed and sent to Start the back nine. I love when they take that into consideration and start a group there. We never had anyone close to us.
Now while we sacrificed a lot of balls to the course, I came out even (, my hubbie not so....) we would definitely play here again. It's a beautiful venue.
Some of the holes were very wet so we had to run back and forth to accommodate. Not a problem as golfing is an "active sport" right.?
We will definitely return, as I've been told we are "locals" now . ;)
Great course
Course was in good shape. Pace was really fast and staff was very polite.
Course was in very good shape. Played in late morning and early afternoon when temperature was in the low 90s. Played front in 2 hours but caught up with foursome who were really slow and played back nine in 3 hours.
Great time
Nice course, great round of golf. A little soggy but nothing too crazy. Excellent staff.
great course
Beautiful course with excellent fairways and greens. If I lived closer to this course, I would play it regularly.
Beautiful Course
I really like Plumas Pines, however I was not very happy with being charged an additional $25.00 for my wife to be able to ride with me in the cart. I feel this is really excessive.
