Tight!
I booked online and was supposed to be teamed up with a twosome but they opted to play alone. I was shocked that this was allowed and I wound up playing as a single.
That being said, the course was in great shape and quite challenging. Beautiful scenery!
My only issue is they charge $12 for a hotdog… it’s a hotdog!
Challenging course!
Excellent staff, some narrow fairways with water coming into play on many holes. Traps were well groomed, as well as the fairways and approaches. Will definitely play this course again!
great course
Love this course. Challenging, but fair with Hole #10 being funky and not fitting to the rest of the course. Will return.
great course
one of my favorite courses in the area. due to recent unseasonal thunderstorms, the course had cart path only restrictions and a couple of fairways were saturated but greens were fair, When it is dry, it is a fun trac,
Plumas Pines 2023
Tough course with water and homes surrounding the course. Beautiful setting with snow capped mountains in the background.
Wonderful day, excellent weather and beautiful coarse. Had a great time.
Fun times
Beautiful course views are amazing. Pro. Shop is really nice and the staff were super friendly - made you want to play there for sure! Really cool experience we will be playing here again next time in town.
Plumas Pines
Absolutely beautiful course! It's a difficult course so don't expect to shoot much below your handicap, if at all. I would play it again in a heart beat.
On the down side it would be helpful if whoever you are booking your tee time through would list the "other than normal" course conditions. For instance we didn't know that it was cart path only, the greens had been recently plugged, and one par 4 tee box had been moved up making it a par three. Had we known this we probably would not have played.
Wont play here again
No marshal so no accountability when it comes to tee times. I was on the 2nd hole as a foursome and there was a single, a twosome, and another single all playing separately on the 1st hole. Felt pressured to play quickly and absolutely ruined the start of round. Waited 15-20 min to tee off on the 6th hole. Pay too much money to have this slow of pace of play. Don’t recommend
Tight and tidy.
Narrow yes w galleries of houses but the shortness of the holes makes it approachable. Course wet soft and green and cart path only. I walked and enjoyed that. Very walkable course. At $60 I paid what feels right. $109 to me is outrageous for this course. I’ll be back.
Great Course with a Catch
Loved the course layout and scenery. Greens in great shape. Most of the Tee boxes in good shape with minor exceptions. Biggest gripe - two groups ahead of us was a group of 6. Made for extremely slow play. Ten or more minute wait at last 12 Tee boxes. Sometimes the same on fairway shots. No Marshall was seen to help pick up pace. Despite this we will return again next year.
We’ll Be Back!
Yes The fairways are lined with houses but my wife and I both loved the course. Very well maintained. Tight fairways and the greens played fast. What’s not to like?
