One the best maintained and beautiful courses in San Diego.The greens are 9.5. The fairways are green and lush.The bunkers well maintained, but could use more pure white sand.
We saw a family of wild turkeys on the back nine.
Pro shop personale friendly and appreciate your business.

I would definitely recommend this course. Great value and better than average course.

The course is in great shape. The green were really nice. The course layout is really nice. I will play this course again.

We were surprise with how busy it was with a 2pm TT, waited on every hole. Course was nice but no Torrey Pines as another golfer had noted. Our cart just about died on the 14th and the Pro shop had a replacement out to us before we got to our tee shots.

Do me a favor and stay away from this course so I can have it all to myself! Super friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful course in great condition. Challenging layout. Wonderful surroundings. San Vin has it all.

Fun rewarding course. I would come back more often if the prices were slightly lower and the staff was friendly. During check in the starter asked "is this your first time playing here?" I said "yes it is" and he didn't say anything accept ask for money..... After one hole the starter came up to us and told us to keep up pace even though the group behind us wasn't even close. He also paired us with some locals who just took off on us and didn't say a word. I loved this course but felt like an outsider the whole round.

I played in the early afternoon and the wind was up but the course was in great shape and the wind added to the challenge. Good food in the restaurant

My only complaint is that this course is hard to get to from almost anywhere but you'll be rewarded for the effort. Except for Torrey Pines I haven't seen this much green grass on any course all year. The greens are lush and healthy and run faster than they look. The course was designed by Ted Robinson so you know the layout is going to be good. I wish it were closer to home. I'd be playing there a lot..

Well worth the 45 minute drive from central San Diego.

Didn't have a bad lie all day, greens were superb.

Pace of play was excellent on a Sunday afternoon.

Beautifully maintained fairways and greens. I'm not a snowbird, but if I was, this would be my spot. Great bar and restaurant compliments the resort facilities.

Very impressed and satisfied with our experience at SV. My buddies and I had so much fun playing here. The course layout is very inviting and mostly wide open fairways. I say mostly because there are a number of blind, dogleg, and water features to contend with. Course knowledge definitely helps on a few holes, but for the most part it's just grip it and rip it! The conditions are superb though. Lush, green fairways that are actually soft and spongy. Smooth, well kept greens that run a little slow. Ideal weather on the day we played. The only negative of the round was the group we were stuck behind. Actually, the one guy in the group who had the most ridiculous, slow, and pointless pre shot routine waggle that was as comical as it was annoying. He still sucked too. Besides that a near perfect day at an awesome course. Go play and see what I mean.

Course in excellent shape great weather. Nice location was charged twice not certain if course or golf now problem.

Aside from my friendly and golf ready 4-some, we waited on practically every shot. The course was very crowded and may have been overbooked....combined with some very very slow players with open holes ahead of them...there were no Marshal on the course...it all resulted in a very long and frustrating day. I will never play here on a Wednesday afternoon again.

Nice course with friendly staff. The course is in very good condition though the greens do tend to be on the slow side. This course is out of the way but worth the drive. You will enjoy this course and you will put it in your rotation of courses to play on a regular basis.

Beautiful, long course. I would golf there again. The course was a great value.

Extremely slow round for late AM Friday, 5 hours+ (akin to a weekend). However, course was in great shape, it was a beautiful day, and I made some birdies and shot a good round. Definitely a scoreable course if you make some putts.

Waited 45 min to tee off on hole 10. No one in the clubhouse seemed to care.
