San Vicente Golf Resort

It was a perfect day for golf and the condition of the course was very good. I haven't been there in a while and am very impressed with all the improvements that have been made both on the course and in the clubhouse. I look forward to going again soon. Although the pace of play was a little slow, there was a tournament and it was a Sunday afternoon. Didn't have to wail much on any hole. Not much sand in the bunkers.

the first nine wasn't too bad it had normal wait times but the back 9 was horrible the residence of Ramona Esstates kept driving into the course and jumping on the holes I started at 2:00 and called it quits after 16 holes at 6 o'clock

The rough was long which made for some extra challenges but, overall, the course was in excellent condition. A nice blend of hills, water and flatland. A fun course for all skill levels.

Excellent course and very well maintained. It is a bit of a drive to get there but worth it. Pro shop staff could be more cordial. Found them to be a bit gruff. They moved my tee time up by ten minutes and told me "we had two minutes to get our foursome on the tee box. If we couldn't make it the next opening was in an hour". Suggest you double check your tee time when you get there. (Even though we did that)

The people who manicure the course do an wonderful job one the best shape course in San Diego

Pros:
-- Beautiful course layout that you really have to think your way through
-- Fairway and rough in excellent condition
-- Bunkers in great shape. Very fine sand

Cons:
-- Greens were rock hard and it was impossible to stop the ball on them. I think only one ball checked up amongst all 4 golfers on all 18 holes. I wish I knew if it is always like this or they just haven't aerated in a long time.

An honest, beautiful, well-laid out, challenging but fair course.

Coarse in excellent shape and played at a good pace. Highly recommend to anyone, well worth the drive to experience this treasure.

The fair way is a little wide but well maintained.
The most holes are not difficult but not easy.
The 5th hole is challenging.
The green is a little bit fast .

Great course that you will enjoy. In very great condition, and you will end up useing every club in your bag.

Course is in excellent condition but play is slow. You will have the opertunity to use most of your clubs.

San Vincente is a real gem of a course. In great shape...with wonderful grass fairways and excellent green..However, it's a long drive from anywhere...and from North SD county the road is frankly dangerous.

Beautiful course beneath rock laden mountains. This is a very manageable course. Not terribly difficult but challenging enough. A couple well guarded greens, along with dog legs and hidden landings make this a joy to play. My only complaint is the clubhouse and driving range are in need of some serious work. This place hasnt been updated in like 40 years.

I live in san Diego. With a bunch of courses to choose from. It takes about 45 to a hour to get their an for SD that's forever. Once you get there you cant play a better course for the money. You drive home with a smile on the face. ..

Overall the course was in good shape and considering the cold and snow back home, I was happy to be able to golf. The staff in the pro shop was less than friendly and weren't too happy to see my GolfNow booking. The pro asked when I had booked and then put us the tee time after what was booked. Were not very friendly and didn't seem to appreciate that I had gotten the hot deal through GolfNow.

Course is very well maintained. Great value. Quiet, lush. Greens are fast and true. A 40 minute drive from South Bay. Well worth the time. You will not be disappointed. Truly one of the best values in SD County.

This is a very nice course, well maintained, with fast true greens. The pace of play was great, and the course was interesting and fun. I will come back to play here again!!

No course monitoring, so a threesome joined a slow twosome and played as a fivesome. They would not let the faster groups behind through, and threw a temper tantrum when a twosome tried to go around them.

A nice course, reasonably well maintained. Friendly staff. We were only a twosome but were allowed to play as that because the course was not busy in the early afternoon. When we started out there was no one ahead of us, but by the 3rd hole we caught up with a foursome that were moving like they were heading for their own funeral. They lagged the groups ahead but they had no intention of letting anyone through. Fortunately, on the 4th hole a course staff member came by and told them to let us and the group behind us to play through, which they reluctantly did. We sailed through from there and still managed to finish in 4 hours. The Golf Now booking got us green fees plus cart for $20 each, including online booking fee, compared to the best available fee at the course of $40 each. Great deal!!!
