For the Money
This was a good course for the price we paid and was in good shape both tee boxes and greens,it was a little slow the front nine but we were allow to pass at the tenth and we finshed in record time, ate here for the first time and it was alright nothing specail about the price or service. Overall a good deal for the price we paided!
I think the course was challenging with nice elevation changes.
I think the course was in good shape. The couse was easy to navigate and the play was steady.
Very nice layout
I really enjoyed this course, it is nestled in the oaks with some nice blind shots. At hole 16 there was a covey or herd or flock, not exactly sure what to call the group, but there were 11 full sized wild turkeys glaring at us as we approached; it was amazing. The layout has good elevation changes with some grip it and rip it driving holes. In regards to the course, the biggest negative was some of the greens were very diseased and even short putts were not sure things.
Now for the dirt, there was too much of it in some of the fringed fairways, we agreed to clean and place even though it was not raining; had to move my ball three or four times to put it on some grass.
In regards to the staff; for some reason they staff behind the counter are not very friendly, I wonder if smiling is against course policy. For the most part, they do not seem to want to help, i have been there twice and both times it seemed that i was burdening them with my reservation and questions. Two different people at two different times and no other people in the club house. The course personnel were very nice, the gentleman with the cold water was a great treat.
All in all, i would recommend this course and will definitely play there again.
Nice friendly course
Nice course for the intermediate player. Offers some challenges especially that there are par 5's, My husband a weekly player really enjoyed the challenges, I found many holes long and difficult, but I only golf 4-5 times a year. Definitely would come back. Great bar for a drink after golfing.
Loved it
I was a single on vacation and paired with three great people that had played the course. I loved this course! It was beautiful and in great shape. One of the great scenic holes had a mountain behind it with snow on top of the mountain. Got a great deal on golfnow and would definitely play again if back in the area.
Nice layout
Nice course, slower greens, overall excellent value.
