Shadow Mountain Resort & Club

I arrived in Southern California three weeks ago. I knew that Palm Springs offered a lot of different golf courses to choose from and I found that this golf course had everything that I required. The resort course is beautiful and is both challenging and exhilarating to play. The legends course, in my opinion, is somewhat more challenging to play due to the tightness of some of the holes. However, both courses are truly exceptional and fun to play. I look forward to bringing many of my friends to play.

Hot temperatures discourage play resulting in fast paced round. Welcoming staff, no bells & whistles offered anywhere. Straight forward layout with minimal hazards. Slower paced greens with little undulation. I’d consider this course the lower end of Palm Springs golf offerings.

Was first group off as a foursome, played in 3.5 hours. Course was in excellent condition, considering the harsh summers here. Greens were a little slow, but thats to be expected this time of year. Very nice and welcoming staff. This place does it right.

The course was in good condition considering the time of year and location. The staff was helpful and stepped up when I left my wallet in a cart.

Weather was HOT, FRIENDLY STAFF, COURSE IN GOOD CONDITION, NICE PACE OF PLAY, ENJOYED IT!!

Played on a 100+ degree afternoon in August so had this well ‘maintained course to myself; thoroughly enjoyable. Well designed course with variety of challenges. Water and restroom facilities thoughtfully planned mid-round. Very helpful and friendly staff in golf shop and cart barn.

This is one heck of a golf course. It's rrlativrly wide ope . Some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen on a golf course. Especially early in the morning when the shadows and the Hills and the trees. The greens are in great shape.

For summer conditions in the desert, a must play. All around good course

Legend is a fun course with a decent layout and in nice shape for August. I would recommend this track, Even if you don't get a hot deal.

Very basic layout and summer conditions makes this course below average for the Palm Springs area, but the hot deal price is incredible. The sister course, Legends, is much nicer in both layout and conditions.

I had a great opportunity to play the Firecliff course at Desert willow the other day and to my surprise I loved everything about it . The fairways were in great condition, no burned or dried out spots that I’ve witnessed. The greens even in better shape . They rolled very true and were very consistent from the first hole to to the 18th. It does play a little so don’t forget any clubs behind . What I really enjoyed is the fact this course starts with a par 5 and ends with a par 5 . Beautiful picturesque course with a great design and layout . Would highly recommend this course to all …

Was disappointed that we payed full price for a course that had the greens sanded the evening before our Tee time! The greens were freshly punched and sanded and we were not given notice to these conditions s. If we would have known, we would have booked another course as the price we payed did not reflect the condition of the course.

Resort Course was decent, some nice holes especially a couple of the Par 3's. Short 17th is very cool. Lots of water on the course making for a nice scenic layout. Considering it was July and very hot fairways and tee boxes were not bad, could be a bit better. Greens were decent as well. Yardage is all up to you as no GPS on carts. There is water on the course to drink but could be colder. Some strange smells around the 1st hole and 18th and noisy from the water park nearby
