Pace of play very slow.
Golf course double booked tee times. Average wait between holes almost 15 minutes for most holes.
This course has lots of water and bunkers!
This was my first time on this course. I'm a beginner golfer, so for me it was quite difficult. I played with more experienced golfers who really enjoy this course. I'm looking forward to going back with more experience
This is a fun par 62 course!
This course is always well maintained and the staff is very friendly. The course is easy enough that beginning golfers can enjoy it but yet is challenging enough that more experienced golfers also enjoy it. This is one of my two favorite courses in North County.
10-12 yr.old world championships held here
Green, Tees, Bynkers, & fairways in best shape ever
Fine course but way overbooked and terrible delays at every tee box
This is a fine course when you get a good price on it through GolfNow, but yesterday's round was the slowest round of golf I have ever played. Pushing five hours, and that was for a par-62. They were overbooked and had no active marshal going around pushing slow players to move it along. This caused ten minute delays at every tee box where we were standing behind the group in front of us who were also waiting for the next guys. We could see as far as six holes ahead at one point and saw that it was just as backed up everywhere but nobody took notice from the clubhouse and did anything about it.
This course has plenty of shade for golfing in warm weather.
This course is perfect for people new to golf and for those that want to practice their short game.
First golf outing of the year
This was our first golf outing of the year. Great short course for honing wedge, middle iron, and putting. Course was in excellent shape. Had enough challenging shots to keep it interesting.
EXCELLENT
ONE OF THE NICEST, MOST PLEASANT EXECUTIVE COURSES YOU CAN PLAY.
Great deal, relaxing round, use every club in your bag.
This is a fun course that plays that way. My wife and sister in law enjoyed a reservation at one of the many pools while I tee'd it up with my bro in law. If you're looking for a good solid "tweener" course, you won't be disappointed with the Welk Fountains. Could play a bit slow on weekends and holidays due to tourists.
Great Condition
Everything was great about the course.
Only comment for attention is that there should be a Marshall/Ranger to assist slow groups and monitor GOLF ETIQUETTE 101 as many players there don't have a clue.
Great great golf course with great service
Really fun course. Really nice course. The restaurant is welcoming as you gaze outside and engulf the beauty that awaits. With warm welcomes from the staff, we drove off in our fully loaded golf cart. Entering the resort the breathtaking views of the mountains and skies were magnificent
Course was great. However, the pace of play is extremely slow!!
Course was great and since it is short, it can be played in under TWO hours for 18 holes. However, the pace of play is extremely slow!! They need to have marshalls to speed up play and let people play through slow groups or pick up their balls and go to the next hole. our first 9 holes were super; then we came up to a slow group who had the entire back 9 open and we had to wait on every shot. Slow play made it very un-enjoyable.
Great course, friendly staff, very laid back.
My husband and i pays this course every month we love it.
Nicest Staff ever!!!
Welk resort is has world class service. Great golf course and immaculate grounds and facility. Bob and Bob and the entire staff are wonderful.
Nice Course
I liked it well maintained
Nice people very good value
Price was right
The course was in very good shape. However the greens were a little inconsistent, some were much slower and softer than others. Some of the greens would hold a shot and some would not. I am a tough critic on the greens because I like then very fast (pick a line and just get i9t rolling). The yardage was a little tough for me as I seemed to always have to take a little of a club. The only hole I took a full swing on was 18. The tees were back to playing about 133 and I hit a PW to the middle of the green (missed the bird and made par)
great for iron practice
This course is a great little course for getting some iron and pitching practice in. It is much better way to practice than at the driving range.
The deal we got through Golf Now made it even less expensive than to go to the driving range!
well maintained par 3 course!
the course is very well maintained and the pace is good. we'll come again.
Manicured and green all around.
I think The Welk Group ought to incorporate the Oaks and Fountains courses and create a full-on championship course! Just as beautiful as is though.
Super course
A very friendly course that we played a second time as we enjoyed it so much. It was in excellent condition and among some lovely scenery. The golf was interesting without being overly challenging and gives all levels of golfer a good game.
VERY GOOD VALUE, HOWEVER THE GATE SECURITY AT THE ENTRANCE CAN TAKE SOME TIME TO GET THROUGH AT RUSH TIMES SO ALLOW AN EXTRA 10 minutes for that
