Very nice
As a beginner this coarse is very fun. I do need to hit my driver straighter through the condos :).
Fun course
A fun course that's not very crowded. As it's the longest executive course in San Diego County, you can expect to use all of your clubs...
Nice Executive course
Course was in good condition, greens had been sanded not too long ago, so not as nice as usual.
Great price using Last Minute Golfer!
The course is well maintained
Haven't played here in years. I was very impressed with the course conditions and the weather was fantastic. I will play again soon and will recommend to my friends.
Not happy
Booked a week in advance and had to wait 45 minutes to even get to the 1st hole. Way too many bookings, they are getting greedy by charging more and making people wait. Have played there for years but won't be going back anytime soon.
This course was aggravating
The greens were undergoing restoration, should be good when done.
There is "soccer golf" on the course at the same time, this causes to much activity interfering with a steady game. Large groups kicking soccer balls al over the place, one group puching a baby around in a stroller as they played.
Very Slow Play
excellent short course and perfect for short game practice. excellent condition and beautiful views.
disappointed that I had to wait about 5 - 7 minutes in-between each shot waiting on "traffic ahead"
and didn't see a marshal all day.
perfect for a quick round
my wife and I always stop here on the way to San Diego. Perfect for some exercise after sitting in the car for 2 hours. Nice executive course always in good condition and can play 18 holes in about 2 hours.
Family Vacation
My family frequents Welk Resort in Escondido and I look forward to playing the fountains course every time. The staff is very friendly and the course conditions are always top notch.
Long wait
Nice course! Poorly managed. We were on time for our tee time. It took them 45 min to get us on the first tee box.
Great Par-3
Went with my 78-year dad who plays once or twice a week & my son who is learning the game. We played a little bingo, bango, bongo and finished in 2-hrs or less. Long hole is 127 yards so bring a wedge & a putter. Great tree cover and an easy & enjoyable walk.
Great course
Really nice par 3 course. Got a chance to work on approach and putting. Of the 3 par 3 courses I've played so far, this is my favorite.
Best
This is the best par three course in souther California.
Great place to play
Greens are in great shape.. the greens keeper should be proud..
Great course
This is a great course, challenging but not to difficult for new players
Love this Course
Such a great facility. Greens are nice. Driver can be used on about 5-6 holes. Awesome area and maintenance.
Average course
What you would expect at an average course. Don't set your expectations too high. You will be disappointed. Sorry just the facts here!!
The Fountains
This was a great course for the average golfer. I hadn't played a round in over 10 years until this most recent review. I walked away from the Fountains with a 92, and I only lost two balls. You will experience a number of sand traps, water and large boulders. The course is green with very few (if any) brown spots. We were a little disappointed because the snack shack at the 9th hole was closed due to a missed shift.
Hidden Gem
A lot of fun and plenty challenging. Great greens and well maintained fairways and tees. Very friendly staff. Will be back again.
Time Out---for a fun day of Golf!!!!
The course was not busy----no one behind us pushing-----the weather could not be better and we finished in about 3 hours and 15 minutes. Not the largest course we have played but this one is definitely the best manicured, and beautiful. The greens had some sand on them due to maintenance but that did not stop the puts. For anyone looking for a great experience at Lawrence Welk Resort from the golf to a beer and burger this is it!!!! Go Play!!!!!
