Great for 100 yards and in
This was a nice par 3 course. I was a single and was able to play 18 holes in 1:15 minutes.
Short Game
This course is awesome and the staff really makes it welcoming. Their coffee is great! My brothers and I play every other Sunday bright and early, and we have a great time out there. The greens can be tuff and the back nine can make it challening because of obstecles. Here's a picture of my first birdie.
Poor condition
Course would be great if they cut the grass and gave it some TLC.
Wonderful Welk
My friends and I come here once or twice a month. The staff is always very friendly and we love the fast pace and beauty of the course.
FUN Shorty
Good short course with some challenging holes Greens in great shape. But tough to read.
Good coarse for seniors
Its a shorter coarse but in good shape, the only negative is the T Boxes are very uneven.
Good for varying skill
we were a group of 4 ladies. Played 3 times while staying at the Resort. (played 2 other courses in the area also). This is a great course with difficult enough holes for those of us who have played a while and a little difficult for those of us who have only played for a year. Course is beautiful. however, on a nice unseasonably sunny day it can very slow taking 4 3/4 hours or more even with 2 players with us who took more time. We still were waiting at most of the holes. All and all its a great course. We come every year.
Slow play
Great course but the pace of play so slow you lose interest in the game. Some holes were backed three groups deep!
Nice Short Course
This is an executive course, mostly par threes and some par fours. The course was in excellent condition given the extremely dry weather the last few months. I'm not wild about executive courses, but this was nice because it was in nice shape in such dry weather and has some nice, scenic holes. A lot of seniors play this course, which can make for slow play.
really nice executive course
some holes play uphill, some downhill, never boring
What a disappiontment
Poor greens, poor fairways, extremely slow pace of play. Could be a great course but obvously no money spent on upkeep.
a fun time executive course
played fountain course with my wife , our first time there. course was in great condition except a couple t-boxes need some work. friendly staff , had a good fun time, my wifes new favorite place
Nice Day
Teed off 30 minutes early off our 9:44 tee time with hardly anybody on the course. Greens in excellent shape. Tee Boxes a little muddy with the overnight rain, but not horrible.
White tee's were either with the red tees or blue tees, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Score early, the middle of the back nine is quite difficult.
Fun round and well maintained course
This was my first time playing the course, but it wasn't a challenge finding your way like other courses I've played lately. It was a little hot and the sun just beat down on you in that little valley, but still a great day to play.
The overall maintenance of the course was excellent. I really wouldn't say pristine, but it was definitely better than just "maintained".
I was by myself, but saddled behind two foursomes and a threesome behind me that caught up. I didn't mind so much though after the cart girl showed up after 4. The rate of play was still...decent, given the line up.
There are some great views, pretty decent elevation changes, a lot of trees and only a few water hazards. There was a good mix between easy/forgiving fairways and some more challenging/tight fairways.
Overcrowded , no proper marshalling , more Oitch and Out than a proper golf course
3 rounds 4hrs, 41/4hrs and 5 hours for a par 61 is a mess
Terrific executive level course.
Terrific executive level course. Play is a little slow as they put too many players on at times.
Good for practice
I played the Welks Oaks course. For the money, this is a great little spot to go work on your short game. I'd definitely come back.
Very Short Executive Course
This is a very good course for the novice. The longest hole is under 150 yards and I didnt play any club longer than my 9 iron the whole round. It is located in a beautiful area of San Diego county. The tee boxes were being overseeded the day we played and were closed but the greens were in good shape.
Nothing too great, but a pleasant day of golf.
Executive size course in pretty good condition. Enough par 4s to make an interesting round. Good for couples. Nice Pro Shop, friendly staff with some discounts. Okay at 34 bucks through GolfNow.
this course has hills and slops
This is a well maintain course with nice scenic views, and very well maintained, the play is a good pace.I really like the course layout.will be playing here again real soon.
