Played this course Friday. 11/8. Round took almost 5 hours. Charged $186.00 for greens rolling around a 6 on the stimp. Hole 18 was closed off and was never told this when booking. The condition of the course was terrible and I’d never play there again. Regardless of overseeding. We played PGA west the day before and was in fantastic shape and same cost. How they charged this much for 17 holes. Slow greens and poor conditions is beyond me

Shaggy course conditions understandable given recent overseeding. However:

Power cart got a flat tire and it took a very long time for the prison phone to be answered. When the phone was answered, there was no sense of urgency to help us. We had to walk two holes before it was replaced at the 9th green.

No food cart appeared for the whole round.

No marshall to get the slow group in front of us to pick up their pace.

No water in the carts.

Nothing was offered to our group to compensate for the above inconveniences. We paid full freight to play there.

Generally, I have always liked this course and play it regularly. I recommended it to the people I was with but would have a hard time doing it again.

The customer service needs to be addressed.

The course was in very good condition considering it had just been reseeded. Having said that the greens were slow and it was cart path only so it was a 5 hour round with everyone having to walk to their ball. Also Hole 18 was closed as the course was setting up for filming next week so our 18th hole was a temporary par 3 which was a bit disappointing as we were not notified at time of booking. The course accommodated by providing food and beverage after the round as well as a $10 coupon towards a further round. I thought this was a good compromise.

All in all I enjoyed the course and the day.

First off, there was NO parking available due to the tv crew requirements. And no one to help. The news of the closure of hole 18 was a big surprise with nothing mentioned on the website. Nice touch with the par 3 and lunch however. Greens were painfully slow.

The course layout is great and the scenery is wonderful, but that's about it for the prose. Greens were long, bumpy and poorly maintained. Bunkers were hard and wet half the time. I was the first person out as a single and on the back 9 EVERY pin was pulled. I called the pro shop twice to fix it but they didn't until the 18th hole. I asked for a discount on the back 9 but was told I played too fast (don't in 2.5 hours) and they were very rude to me, acting like it was my fault that they booked a single to go first in the morning and were unprepared for it. Will not be playing again or recommending to anyone.

Front 9 was great. I was the first on the course so I wouldn't have to deal with what other reviewers have said about pace of play. I finished the front in about 1.25 hours which was great. The back 9 had every pin pulled and not a groundskeeper in sight. I called the pro shop twice to ask they put them in, but only the 18th pin (by the clubhouse actually got put in. I talked to management and the told me that I played too fast (finished in 2.5 hours) and refused to refund me even part of my Green's fee. They were also quite rude and I will be doing a chargeback on the whole experience. Greens were long and bunkers hard as well. I would not play here. It's apparently slow if you go later and if you go early the course will not be ready for you.

The course has been over seeded and cart path only.. The tee boxes were in goodshape, the fairways were thin. The worst thing were the greens. They were extremely slow and nothing rolled true. Paid $145.00, the value was closer to $80.00.

So sad this use to be a well manicured progressional course! Now it’s for sale again and it shows no pride of ownership or attention to any detail!

Had a great time playing mission hills. It was my first dessert golf experience. Didn't think I'd make it once 10:30 hit. Good was it hit. Beautiful course considering the heat. Had a great pairing. It was the last day before overfeeding and course maintenance. I would love to play it in a few weeks when it cools off. It will be absolutely beautiful.

The course was is great shape for early October and for the summer heat that hit the valley. However the pace of play was incredibly especially slow for the heat and they was not attempt to help rectify.

However I loved the of the course.

Good Layout , Greens in good shape and fairly quick.

Sand was in real good shape.

Course Very nice for this time of year1
