Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa

We started as a twosome and without our knowledge, we were asked to be paired with another twosome after the third hole. Although a foursome now, we waited on every hole due to extremely slow play as 2 foursome decided to join together as an 8-some. With no consideration to the groups behind them our round took 45 minutes longer then it should have. No course marshalls were present for the entire round and the proshop was closed on the turn to the back 9 holes so we were stuck with this very dissappointing situation. Very poor course management.

Fairways were over seeded and were in a pristine dark green colour. Every lie on the fairways and fringes was perfect. Definitely a place to play on any visit to Palm Desert area!

Great course especially for casual golfers. Only negative of the whole experience was parts of course were dry and yellow grass. Everything else was good we already decided we will definitely play here again

Fairways and greens are okay. The rest of the course looks unkempt and neglected. Cartpaths are full of sand, water was scarce, looks like the bare minimum is being done to maintain the course. No one picked up our bags at the bag drop, no one offered to clean them after the round. No starter. Restaurant was closed at 3:30, couldn’t even buy a cold beer. Been playing there for 20 years, sadly the pride of ownership is clearly lacking, and we’re taking this course off our rotation.

Course conditions were outstanding. Because this I'd a Pete Dye course, it is very difficult. My advice it to play up a tee box for maximum enjoyment.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is a decent layout but I found the greens and fairway to be only average for this time of the year.

Consistently enjoyable course. Only drawback is it would be nice to have a convenient place for après golf drinks and telling of lies.

We ejoyed the experience and would reccomend it to a friend.

First hole was ok but from there it was great day.

greens were excellent.

This is a great layout, great combo of layout, sand and water keeps it interesting without being unfair. Fairways were perfect. Greens held your approach shot. Nothing fancy with the facilities, but great staff makes this a great value for excellent golf.

Course was great, fun, pin placements were tough, as the greens were hard and super fast. Fairways, greens and tee boxes were great shape. Anything off the fairways was pretty rough.
