Needs improvement
I had my daughter with me and they charged me $25, she didn’t touch a club which I think is ridiculous. Tee boxes are rough. Fairways and greens have big dirt patches. I was playing golf so I was happy. But grand palms you have to do better.
rainout
it rains in south somewhere everyday you can't predict the rain it was 91 humid until we got to the 8 hole then the sky's opened up . they do not honor rainchecks therefore we lost 9 holes rain didn't slow down till 4 lightning never stop. this club should be removed from your site
Good - could be great
This was a fun course. Very challenging. Water, bunkers, narrow fairways at times, great layout. Definitely needs some grounds and greens maintenance but overall, it is a good course for a great price. With a little help, this would be a top course contender in the area. For now, this is a hidden gem.
This course is run so poorly.
The cheap people that run this place make it an awful experience. No ranger so the pace of play was terribly slow. They had a bunch of beginners on the course that were driving the carts on the greens and tee boxes. At one point they were playing a 10 some. The range ball machine barely works. The kids that work at the course are great but they are embarrassed to work there. One kid said he was quitting without a new job even lined up because the management was so awful. The course is in bad shape overall. The kitchen in the club house is condemned so you can't get any food. Its a complete embarrassment.
Tee Time
I selected the first tee time available: Sat, 7:am
The front nine went relatively fine with no players ahead. When we reached the back nine found a course completely stuck and crowded. Something totally unexpected in a regulat golf course.
This complex has 3 9-hole courses that they mix at will so players can start the front nine at any and play the back nine at any other as instructed by the proshop guys. This is a total mess as they do not respect the priorities. As playing the back nine was impossible we complained and requested a rain check or credit. This guy said no because it was a weekend. Period.
Beside this, the courses have no clear signaling. No 100-150-200 marks and no maps in the score card.
We willl never play there again. Golfpass shoud make its memebers aware of this scam-like practice.
maintenance
course was OK however several fairways had little to no grass. . grass pn both sides of fairway grass was so high balls were lost it was like it hadn't been cut in weeks
What happened to grand palms?
Tee boxes look like a brush fire ran through them. This course used to be so well taken care of. A shame how it’s declining
Worst golf course in all of Florida
This course is only worth like 20 dollars at best. The fairways are horrible and rge greens are the worst I have ever seen. I have no idea how anyone returns to this course to play a second round.
Course is not in great condition; however, the staff is phenomenal.
Good for price
Some greens were a little rough. Also some fairways. Staff were all very friendly. Good price to play though.
Too bad
Could be a great course.
For starters they pack both 9 nines with groups. I quit on 14 after 4 hours.
maintainance
I had been to this course several times it seems like they are starting to neglect the course ( fairways uncut ormuch thicker , greens full of weeds, some tee boxes were more dirt than grass
