Have booked another tee time for this course
Well maintained and The length of the course from the forward tee box was just right for my game. We will be playing this course several times during our month long stay.
Decent enough value for dollar-no hole layout pics or GPS
The grass was reasonably good for winter. Greens a bit slow and bumpy. Some very pretty holes. Most are woven through the condos. Pace of play was great.
Our one big complaint was that there was no GPS and no hole maps at the tee box or on the card. Too many surprises (e.g. water) on many holes were the result. This is unacceptable in my view and made it hard to agree I’d recommend th3 course to a friend based on price point.
Cost for range balls is also excessive in my view. .30 balls for $8.00.
Challenging Course
The course has a lot of dog-legs and water to go over or around to get to the green. Bag service was weak and they have no tees available for sale or complimentary. Fairways are in good shape and greens are fast. It is a very scenic course, especially the par 3s
Simply wow!
We played here a while ago and decided to stop playing the course because the conditions were just mediocre. New management has done a great job working on it. Greens are a bit slow but in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes in excellent shape. Definitely playing it again! Can’t wait to visit the Legends.
Fun course
Course was very nice also fun to play ! But they had no food because the club house was closed I would go back for sure and when I do I hope the club house is open so I can order a meal ... nice course for sure
Lousy pace of play!!
I think its a fun course, have to hit it pretty bad to get in trouble. The bad is it took 5 hrs and 15 mins to play. No ranger. Pretty ridiculous!!
they could use a set of senior tees as the whites are a lillte long for seniors. Ladies tees are fine.
Two players sharing one bag
Paired up with 2 guys playing out of 1 bag. Never seen a ranger all day on a very busy Friday. Don’t waste your $100 on this course, many other courses nicer in the area that know how to manage a golf course. Round was 4:50 and the only reason was no ranger out on the course keeping play moving. This use to be a favorite course of mine while staying at Orange Lake, now I’m looking elsewhere.
Course has challenging layout
Course was challenging and good layout, pace of play was very slow with no Marshall's on the course. Course is confusing to find your way at the start.
A real good short game tune-up.
We played this course to work on our short game while getting a walk in. Want to go back to play it at night due to it's unique night lighting to do so.
Decent resort track
Played 9am tee time at Preserve Course.
-Very, very strange “pro shop”, sort of a convenience store/bakery with a golf course cashier in the corner.
-good driving range, practice green. (Practice buckets extra $)
-Friendly staff, starter, beverage cart, marshall’s.
-each hole unique from the last
-playable tee to green, some tricky greens (decent shape, fairly slow), beautiful sand in the green-side bunkers.
-very pretty wooden bridges over wetlands a over course
-no real food options at turn. Inedible gas station style “sub”. But ice cold beer.
-lots of holes in among the condos, very few toilets, even less trash cans.
Overall, not a great value at $60, considering other nearby options.
.
Strange stuff
Course conditions were good, no complaints. Here’s what was not good: lack of water,’ vending machines not working but no out or order signs. Cart girl says it never works. Why is it available to take money? Pin flags
all the same
and no way to know pin position. Starter said they ran out of green position cards a couple of weeks earlier.
Great to be back
It’s been about 10 years since I have played here and the course didn’t disappoint.
There was a bit of inconsistency on the greens but I’m being really picky. ( only because I lost at snakes)
Some lovely holes for golf and will definitely be on the list for next year !!
Good Course For Low Cap Players
Course was a great test of golf for a player who is a single digit handicap. Fairways are generous for all levels but the approach shots were interesting and required good distance control. Overall a well layed our course that I would recommend as long as the green fee in under $80. Though based on the few I paid to play, I was disappointed that you still had to pay for range balls. Not something I would expect from a course of this standard.
