Good course
Greens run true, tee blocks and fairways are good.. Well conditioned and well designed course. Friendly and helpful staff. As with most Florida courses no rangers are used and a 5 some of weak golfers encountered on back nine was a disaster. They were oblivious to holding up the entire course with three groups waiting on each tee as a result and this on a day when the course wasn't busy. This will need to be addressed or there will be repercussions.. Hopefully it is a one off but how would anyone know without a ranger. I have seen courses who didn't address this end up closing.

Enjoyable experience playing with my son on a beautiful day and excellent and fun course!
The Reserve
Kudos to the staff for bringing this course back from the goat track to which it had devolved under prior management. A real joy to play.
Great little course for novice or higher handicap players
I took my 4 yr old son and my 74 yr old father in law out on this track. It was perfect for both. One learning to play the game and the other in twilight of his game. Tee boxes were in tough shape (chewed up and over sanded). Carts didn’t have enough sand to fix divots In Fairways or tee boxes (when they needed it). Overall it was a fun course though.
Excellent test of golf
Course was is great shape and as challenging as ever. This is always a regular stop during our spring break golf trip. Never disappoints!
The Reserve
Nice course. Was apprehensive due to some of the reviews, but they were wrong. This is a nice course and it was in great condition. It's in a resort so keep it straight or you will have house trouble. Water is also in play. It's busy and the community members do walk the course while you are playing, which would be the only negative. That said the course was in great shape. Challenging but not super difficult. Greens were fast and true. We were 2 foursomes and played in about 4:10. Fun time, will return! Staff was friendly and helpful.
Greens
This course used to be fantastic, but the greens are in poor shape compared to the rest of the course. Based on other courses in the area not worth the rate.
In addition, the driving range was also in poor condition. Not sure if it's due to overplay or weather, but was disappointed compared to other times I have played this site in previous years.I rarely write reviews, but feel.based on the winter rate it's relevant.
Good course... but the Holiday Inn closed the bar and grill permanently! No place to have a bite or a drink afterwards.
READ BEFORE YOU PLAY
The course itself, which I care about most, is great! Nice layout, receptive greens, the course itself was in good shape. Things you should know and anticipate-poorly run. I drop my bag, kid says I’ll be right back with a cart...15 minutes later I walked back behind the marketplace (their clubhouse) and grabbed a cart myself. ZERO rangers, starters, beverage carts. It’s run by kids. Groups just lining up on the tee, and even a 5some I bypassed. My biggest beef-The score card has no layout or hole presentation whatsoever. No yardage book in the clubhouse. Nada. With some forced carries, knowing how far it needs to be hit would be extremely helpful. IMPORTANT-If you click the location on this app ifor
directions it will take you 20 minutes from the course. Then I googled the address and it takes you to the wrong side of the property. To find this place GPS the intersection of 192 and Orange County Blvd. Youll be at the entrance. GREAT COURSE. It’s just the little things that suck.
Typical Florida course with lots of water
Overall course was in good condition and good value for the money. Lots of water and wooded areas so bring extra balls if you aren’t the straightest hitter. 3 sets of tees with longest at about 6500 so not a bad test for a low handicapper. We played as a twosome in about 4.5 hours so not a bad pace of play but I can see rounds in excess of 5 on real busy days. As course is located within Orange Lake Resort the buildings are right on top of you on about half the holes. Other than that I’d recommend the course and return again.
Greens are fast
Good conditions, nice layout and the fastest greens I have encountered of the courses played this month. Lots of carry shots over water and you have to play strategically on this course.
Good course
The course was in nice shape. Fairways were in nice shape. Greens were fast and consistent. This is our seconfpd year playing this course and will probably play it when we come down next year as well.
No amenities
No amenities and apart from the starter very poor Customer experience. Especially the beer babe who was very officious and unapproachable!! Not good at all!!
Otherwise course ok though not worth $100
Poorly mantained. Pro-shop is more like a gas station.
Blind shots
Conditions were good but no better than the Reserve course which was $30 less. Greens were fast but didn’t hold approach shots very well. There was a lot of blind tee shots or tee shots where there was danger of hitting through fairways if you didn’t know the course. However some very interesting holes which would be more rewarding to play for the second time.
March 2019
Played a month ago. Conditions are acceptable. Greens very very fast. I played with 3 ladies that played well. We had a blast. Course was packed and backed up. 5 hour round. It was ok because the ladies were good players.
Good value
A little narrow in places with firm fast fairways. Greens were quick and lots of break but rolled true. Overall a good course for the money. I would play again.
Orange Lake Legends Disappointment
I had played Orange Lake in the past and it was in great shape. I put The Legends on our golf schedule with friends and were we disappointed.. The driving range was in terrible shape.. We had to wait for golf balls. The practice putting green has a disease tat was seen on most of the greens. After playing hole #1, we proceeded to hole #2 where there were 4 groups all on #2. One on the green, one on the fairway and 2 groups waiting to tee off including our 3 some..I called into the pro shop to let them know they need to send out a Marshall which they said they would. No one showed. The fairways and greens were in poor condition and the round took almost 5.5 hours. The Legends will no longer be on our schedule of courses to play. I highly recommend Reunion golf courses and Orange County as the best courses for play as well as well maintained.
