A mess of a day behind a group of 7
That's right a 7some. Called the pro shop and the guy working sounded very concerned and said the words I knew wouldn't end well "I'll send the starter out if he hasn't left yet, if he has I'll figure something out." Well as you can probably guess no one ever came out to deal with the 7some.
Don't waste your time here. Plenty of courses in the Orlando area to choose from that are better managed.
Course in great shape we’ll worth the money love the layout
Wasn’t worth the time finding it!!
Address that was emailed to us in our confirmation brought us to a dead end. After returning back to main gate of this huge development and running into a registration office we were told to go to another entrance! To make a long story short we asked three more people where the course was and finally directed to a marketplace area where the name of the course was in small print at the bottom of the sign. It was a lot of hassle to play nine holes. No interest in playing or finding it again!!
Nobody at bag drop when starting or finishing. No starter or Marshall on course
Lights are back!
If you haven't played the walk at night, you are truly missing out. The lights are back, and the course is in GREAT shape! Big Mike and the staff are very friendly and professional, providing Central Florida's best, and really only, night golf experience! Highly recommended for golfers of all skill levels!
Open and Forgiving Fairways
Only issues was Legends Restaurant was closed so no hot food available...
Every tee box and fairways were perfectly maintained and playable.
Signature hole was scenic and ability to play was very workable.
Loved ALL of the par 3s as a challenge for me to step back to the Tips.
Will play again soon.
Nice layout
Excellent course offering a variety of challenging holes
Pleasantly surprised
Pleasantly surprised with the conditions and layout of this course considering some of the negative reviews. Played at 2:30PM as a twosome and finished in 3 hours. I really enjoyed the round and would certainly play again.
The Legends at Orange Lake
Very nice course!! Well maintained, friendly staff, and challenging course, just enough water, sand and trees to keep you focused on every shot. A real treat!!
Greens in Perfect Condition
Always enjoy playing. Great layout with interesting and varied holes. Greens court een better. Tees and fairways great. Bunkers are fantastic.
No yardage markers
This course is ok Not great not bad
Two major issues for me. No GPS on carts and no yardage markers on sprinkler heads so judging your distance was awful.
Came Back
We make an annual trip to Orlando for a week of golf and Orange Lake Legends was always on our list until a few years ago when we stopped going and course conditions declined. We gave it a try again this year after a two year absence. It is much improved from tee to green. We will definitely be back next year.
I played with a second single golfer. We went out behind a slow foursome which never left us play through. The round to 90 minutes longer thanit should have. No ranger to control pace of play. No golfers within 4 holes of this group.
Not the first time slow foursomes held us back on this course.
